Fint hotel i centrum af hyggelig by.

Posted Dec 4, 2016
Hotel ligger centralt i en meget hyggelig by.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting.

Posted Nov 12, 2016
Pros: The staff, beautiful gardens, pools and restaurants.
Cons: Small things which should have been sorted - the faulty safe, light and no tea & coffe in the rooms.
Location: Mogan Playa is a small, quiet resort and the hotel is a short walk from the centre where there is a beach, harbour and loads of shops and restaurants.
Overall this is a very good hotel. We had just one or two niggles. This was our second visit and both times the safe we had paid for did not operate. We had to wait while a technician came and fixed it so lost a bit of holiday time. Also a light bulb was faulty and had to be changed. No tea or coffee is supplied to rooms although there is a kettle. The hotel is in a stunning setting with beautifully maintained gardens, two pools with plenty of sunbeds and well placed for walking to the shops, restaurants and the beach. There are good facilities for all the family. The staff are very polite and efficient. We have no hesitation in recommending it and would stay there again.

Gut bis sehr gutes gehobenes Mittelklassehotel

Posted Nov 11, 2016

Nice secure high quality hotel

Posted Oct 21, 2016
Pros: Cheerful helpful staff. Beautiful gardens.
Cons: Carpets in some public areas beginning to fray.
Location: Secure clean beach with safe swimming. Boat and submarine excursions. Bicycle hire available.
We had a week out of UK school holidays when the hotel was full but not crowded. Excellent choice of food in the buffet restaurant and the meal in the à la cartel restaurant Guayres was excellent. Mogan is a pretty port with many independent restaurants and cafes.

Good 4 star hotel.

Various blocks of bedrooms with a central hub on a couple of levels, containing reception, bars and main restaurant, which is used for breakfast and dinner. The latter had two sittings and the room was cleaned and food replenished between sittings. Seating allocated on first visit to restaurant but probably could be changed if requested. Breakfast was "find your own table" and not difficult. Had little cause to use reception but anything required was provided. Two swimming pools, both attractive, with one used mainly by oldies - us - and the other more lively with parents and children. The restaurant buffet and breakfast were both very good with plenty of variety. Restaurant staff always pleasant and smiling. There is an a la carte restaurant but that was a disappointment. The menu was limited, not a bad thing, but unimaginative and frankly the main restaurant food was just as good. It was expensive for what it was and after one visit we gave it a miss. It is an easy ten minute stroll to the seaside with various cafe/bars, a harbour and a small sandy beach. The rooms are clean and a good size. Each had a small balcony. Shower head over the bath kept slipping down but problem sorted with a plastic bag tied to the top. Would be happy to return.

Great hotel in great location

Posted Oct 15, 2016
Pros: The location, layout of the hotel and staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: 10 minutes slow walk to the beach/harbour, lots of restaurants to choose from. A drive into the Mountains is worthwhile for the fantastic views.
The hotel was large but well spaced out so it did not feel too big or crowded. The location is great with just a short walk (10 minutes) to the beach/harbour. The staff in all departments were friendly and helpful and the entire hotel was spotless.

Geweldig hotel

Posted Oct 13, 2016
Heel fijn hotel. Prachtige tuin. Vriendelijk personeel.
