excellent location for walking aroundPosted Jun 25, 2017
Great value for money, if you don't mind the hustle and a bit of noise . Can walk around town very easily (half an hour top to a lot of the places to see) Comfortable room and nice welcoming staff !

Clean, quiet, and crampedPosted Jun 5, 2017
Cons: Do not book 2 guests into such tiny rooms
Location: On pedestrianized street just off Grand Via, and short stroll downhill to Plaza del Sol. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby.
Lovely facilities in heart of Madrid, with very clean, very quiet rooms. BUT our room was so small it was impossible to open door without hitting bed, and nowhere to put 2 normal-sized suitcases. For 1 person, this room may be OK; for 2 people, at the price being charged, it was definitely not OK. Other double rooms we saw during housekeeping were much larger, as featured in photos online, so don't know if this was just bad luck, but would recommend future guests proceed with caution and ask questions about room size before committing.

Right in the middle of Gran ViaPosted Jun 4, 2017
A little bit hard to find the entrance since tucked in between restaurants. Also two elevators without much room which may cause trouble if traveling with big luggage. Otherwise once inside the reception area is wonderful and staff were excellent in guiding through the city. We had some trouble with air conditioning for which they reaccommodated us to a beutiful room. Otherwise great stay.

Comfortable and Central HotelPosted Jun 3, 2017
Stayed in a Superior Room, with street facing balcony but it was surprisingly quiet when doors were closed considering the high traffic area. Room was spacious, light, airy, clean and minimal. The bed was big, firm and comfortable. Power sockets were in convent places. Small bathroom with and underpowered rain shower but adequate. No in-room kettle nor fridge. The split level roof terrace on the 9th was a nice retreat and the communal area in reception was also a welcomed space. Reception is on the first floor. The lifts servicing the building were tiny. There are other hotels sharing the building. Staff were friendly, knowledgable and quick to respond to any requests. Always felt safe. Plentiful restaurants, shops and transport right on the hotel doorstep. It was definitely a good stay and I would definitely return.

Location, location, location Couldn't have asked for a better location. Right in the middle of everything Subway next door Great grocery store in the basement of the department store on Gran via Staff very helpful and friendly, suggested great restaurants and shopping The roof garden a must stop with, a great view a bottle of wine some munchies at the end of the day " the best' Its not the Ritz but a great place to use as a base for a Madrid vacation. Would go there again.
