Comfy Stay

Posted Dec 8, 2016 on Ebookers
Nice small hotel with friendly staff. Abit different to find as it is located in narrow tiny street. However very close to Alhambra. We were guided to a near by car park which costed 20 euro for 24 hrs. The Toilet and shower was also very good. I would recommend this hotel for one or two day stay.

Pros: Location was perfect, just off of Plaza Nueva. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Loved the hotel restaurant.
Cons: Room was very dark with low lighting...............

Nerja Getaway.

Recently refurbished, this small beautiful and stylish hotel well worth a visit. Due to being in old town no parking on sight, but only a short walk. Recommended.

Hotel situated in a quiet street and easy to find.

Posted Apr 10, 2016
Pros: It's proximity to all major sites including the Alhambra
Cons: There could be a small electric jug/kettle in the room so as to make tea/coffee.......like the majority of hotels/motels around the world.
Easy to get to by local bus from the main bus station, then a short walk. easy to walk to the Old Town and all the major sites. Taxis everywhere.....city tour stop almost outside. The room was large, clean and comfortable...bathroom also large. it was very quiet and I rarely heard any other guest.

Hotel right in centre of town

Posted Feb 16, 2016
Pros: Being old and very characterful
Cons: Signage could be more visible, better access and perhaps a menu for breakfast
Location: Right in the centre of Granada close to the Alhambra, restaurants bars and shops
Difficult to find as sat nav had problems with mountains. Not very accessible for anyone with mobility problems and very little English spoken so could practice our Spanish. Room was cold as heater not very powerful and breakfast was basic with either tea or coffee and just a tostada. Hotel is very old and interesting and very spanish

Dirty, overpriced: the worst place you can pick

Posted Jan 5, 2016
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: The hotel is close to the central square. There are several restaurants nearby.
Our stay in this hotel was a complete nightmare. We picked the place for our New Year's eve and there was only one good thing about it: now we know the year will only get better. Nothing can be worse than this place. In our arrival, the manager told us we would have to pay and extra $15 Euros because we were booked for a triple room, but wanted to stay in a double. Isn't is cheaper, I asked? Yes, but since you are changing today, I will overcharge you, he answered. It was just the smallest of the problems. The elevator door has no sensor and closes on you all the time. The room was disgusting. Small, full of mold, covered with exposed energy cables around the bed... In the bathroom water flows all over the floor after a one minute shower. But the worst part was when we decided to sleep. The sheets were full of hair (brown, red, and blond, believe me)!!! Stains were everywhere. We could barely sleep. I don't understand how someone can let a hotel become such a terrible place. I will never, ever, go back. And recommend that you stay away from this place.
