New, modern hotel close to all sites.

A newly built hotel in the center of Granada with beautiful design details, kind of minimalistic but very comfortable. The decor highlights cultural characteristics of the city and is inspired by the five senses and the elements, reserving little surprises for those who look closely: little vials of jasmine perfume in first floor rooms, dedicated to the sense of smell; excerpts of Garcia Lorca poems stenciled on the walls; airy indoor terraces with giant whimsical murals; a beautiful terrace/spa on the top floor, dedicated to light. The staff is wonderful and very helpful, readily providing directions to sites and offering to make ticket/restaurant reservations and travel arrangements for you. Fantastic breakfast buffet that even includes Cava - the addictive Spanish sparkling wine - for Mimosas! In the lobby, two beautiful iMacs, great to surf the net or review your photos. Access by car can be tricky because of one-way traffic and reserved lanes for public transport but, once arrived, the hotel has parking and valet service. Light sleepers may want to request an inside room since the Gran Via de Colon is a busy/noisy street till late. Sound-proofing of the rooms, especially between floors, could be better and is the only negative, that only becomes an issue depending on who you get as neighbours.
