Beautiful hotel

Had a great experience here. The hotel is a gem and the staff was very helpful. A little removed from the more touristy and commercial areas yet still very well located.

Pros: I read about the reviews.
Cons: n/a
Location: Alhambra was great (make sure you get your tickets in advance as we did). We walked up the hills (Mirada de San Nicolas) and walked back down,
We got a room in the new section (renovated) side. Nice room. Stayed there 3 nights. Very close (walking) to everywhere. The staff is incredible. They even gave me stamps for my 3 postcards , who does this? . The staff speaks multiple languages.

Excelente hotel súper bien ubicado una torre es antigua un palacio y la otra nueva es moderna muy muy linda habitación espaciosa luminosa y muy buen decorada me encanto!

Wonderful stay in Granada

You will feel the warmth of Andalucia at this hotel with their wonderful staff. We arrived in a rush to make our visit at Al Hambra. They kindly and rapidly got us a taxi so we wouldn't be late, took care of our luggages and paced them in our room and parked our car. When we returned three ours later all was all set except some paperwork for check in. Staff was also honest with where we should eat and where not to. In addition lovely facilities (indoor pool, steam bath and sauna) plus walking distance to major attractions makes this hotel an excellent choice.

Beautiful hotel in a great location in Granada

Front the time we checked in and until we checked out, the hotel staff provided an outstanding service. The hotel location was perfect for us to walk everywhere in Granada. We were upgraded to a beautiful room in the main building. My husband and I travel extensively for work and leisure and have platinum level status with many big hotel chains. Based on the reviews we have read online, we decided to stay at Hospes Palacio de Los Patos in Granada during our anniversary trip in Spain. We loved everything about the this hotel including the Spa service we received. Thank you for making our anniversary trip such a memorable one. We will definitely try your other locations when we are back in Spain.

Past its best

Pros: Location.
Cons: Breakfast and the rooms in the old part.
Location: Location was good. You can walk to the city. The Alhambra is around a 20 minute uphill walk.
There is and old part and new part to the hotel. We were in the old part. The man checking us in was not very attentive. The room was definitely not 5 star. The bathroom was very small with the sink inside the bedroom like some 1970s bed & breakfast establishment. The bar is very small and not befitting a 5* establishment. We were ignored when we sat at the bar and when we sat at a table it took two attempts to get a drink. Apparently there is no gym (for those who use such things). Maybe the rooms are better in the new part. Breakfast was very poor. No sausage or bacon in a 5* hotel. You're having a laugh aren't you?

nice hotel, difficult to get in and out of

Pros: The rooms were large and adequate storage for our belongings
Cons: make the entrance way accessible to cabs etc. I was pouring rain we we arrived and we were all soaked!
Location: The location was good. we were near to the things that we wanted to see.
we came by car which made it very difficult to stop to get our luggage. someone eventually came to help us with luggage but it was a walk to the front door. The rooms were large and roomy. The staff helped out with our rented car which we were very grateful for.

Comfortable & Good service

Old-fashioned house turned into a nice hotel. Very comfortable. Hotel staffs are very professional. A little bit inconvenient during breakfast; not enough menus, and running out of good seats if crowded.

Beautiful hotel, top notch staff. Possibly our favorite hotel we stayed at in Spain. Loved Granada and the whole experience. Parking is available for 25 euros a day.
