Wonderful facility with great people!

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: The people were wonderful!
Cons: S mentioned previously, housekeeping needs a bit more support.
Location: Within walking distance to the Cathedral, the Alhambra, and the shopping. It's perfect for sightseeing, shopping and dining.
The front office staff were wonderful, always helpful and kind. The only negative had to do with housekeeping. Dirty dishes were left in the sink for the entire stay, the bathroom was not cleaned, etc. otherwise, fantastic experience. We'd definitely visit again. The hotel is in a great location for walking to all the sights.

The best nights sleep ever

Posted Oct 15, 2016
Pros: Everything
I was really worried about being able to get to sleep in the middle of the city, but it was great, really quiet and so comfortable. The staff were wonderful too.

Well located hotel with large living space.

Posted Oct 7, 2016
Location: Hotel was very well located , close to cathedral and easy walk to most sights .
The rooms also included a large size living area with dining table , couch and little kitchen which was fantastic .The hotel provided extra communal living space with tea and coffee available. Friendly staff . The only negative was a small double bed .

Very convenient location. 5 minute walk to the statue if Isabella. Staff was really helpful. Freshly baked bread for breakfast was excellent.

OK place to stay BUT......

Posted May 2, 2016
Pros: The staff was VERY helpful
Cons: See my comments above
Rooms are comfortable enough----clean---and in decent shape. HOWEVER.....three real problems: 1. We ordered two rooms--one for two adults--and the other for two adults and two young children. This was written on reservation, but when we checked in, there was only a King Bed and a sofa bed--and the Hotel said they can't give us the fourth bed. Luckily, our room had a King and a sofa bed and as it was our granddaughter, it worked out. 2. Our flight from Barcelona arrived at 6:45 PM--by the time we checked in, it was 8:00 ish. My 7 year old granddaughter had a bad earache and the flight didn't help that out. As a result, we decided to order room service. My son-in-law and I eat everything-and are not picky eaters at all. I even don't mind airline food. BUT.....I have NEVER EVER had such horrible food in my life. We ordered three Paella and one veal dish. None of us could eat more than a few mouth fulls. It was inedible! 3. We put some wine glasses, plates, and cutlery in the sink after our meal. When we returned the following afternoon, they were still dirty and in the sink.

I regret your bad experience in our Hotel. We apologize. I have to say that as the service directory indicates, the daily cleaning does not include cleaning of kitchen and household items, this service can be hired at extra charge. I regret that you have not read it, we try to see the possibility to indicate otherwise. The dishes from our room service meals are already prepared, ready to heat and serve. Not be offering our customers a good service concerned us, we will analyze the problem to give a solution. Thanks for sharing your experience that help us to improve. I hope to have the opportunity you return to stay our Suites again.

Clean and spacious

Posted Nov 16, 2015
Pros: The hotel does not have a breakfast or dining facility (though room service is available).
This is a true mini-suite, essentially a one bedroom condo with a small kitchen. The service was great and everything was very clean.

Very Close to Malaga Airport

Posted Nov 2, 2015
This hotel is exactly what it promises to be: modern, comfortable, clean, close to the Malaga airport, with free parking. The staff is great, and it's really nice that they don't charge extra for infant beds (pack & play); when you have to go to the airport at 4am, the last thing you want is to start unpacking your various infant items. All of that being said, you should know that the area near the Malaga airport is seedy. The hotel is right next to a brothel, and there are several other strip clubs in the surrounding blocks. It really doesn't matter if you're just trying to get close to the airport and head out, but don't mistake it for a romantic or beachside location.

Excellent location

Posted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: The staff are excellent. The location is very good.
Cons: Better sound proofing of rooms facing the street.
Location: Close to everything interesting in Granada.
We drove into Granada and the roads around the hotel are pretty tight. We had to mount the gutter to get around cars, and then finally found a temporary hotel parking spot around the corner to sort out our check-in. Sadly, the hotel carpark was full, so we had to find a commercial one down the street and around the corner. It was pretty convenient, but you wouldn't want to have a large car. Sadly, our room was facing Calle Gran Vía de Colón, which is a really busy street. It provided an interesting view of the city bustle, but it was noisy... really noisy. Luckily we had earplugs that we used the second night. Apart from this, everything about the hotel was excellent. Very polite, helpful and accommodating staff. Great location.

Comfortable apart-hotel with very helpful staff

Posted Sep 22, 2015
We were very pleased with our stay at the Gran Via 44 Suites. The breakfast was very filling and very tasty and we really enjoyed having a kitchenette for added flexibility. The room(s) were very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the main square where you can pick up buses to connect you to the Alhambra/Sacramonte, although Granada is very much a walking city and the morning we had our tour at the Alhambra we opted for a cab. The staff was very helpful and always around/on call. This hotel is definitely a great value and I would recommend it to anyone coming to Granada.
