Recommended primarily due to the location.

Pros: The location in the old town was very cool and funky.
Cons: We upgraded our room to get a spa, which turned out to be a large bath tub with jets, not a hot tub. Showers left a wet mess everywhere.
IMHO, the strongest positive about this hotel is the location. It's in the old town on a one lane cobblestone street with barely enough room for a car. There are no sidewalks here, so the cars and pedestrians have to share the street. The cars are mostly taxis and small buses, and they just zoom along, so the pedestrians have jump into random doorways to avoid becoming road kill. It's actually not that dangerous and in fact is quite amusing. Also, the location is close to bars and restaurants. Finally, there is a view of the Alhambra from the front of the hotel. You are at the bottom of the hill looking up, but there it is. The hotel itself is a little funky. There is an enormous flight of stairs to get to the front desk. Once you are at the front desk, there is an elevator to the floor with your room. When you check in, you will surely not want to haul your luggage up those stairs, so the front desk person will unlock the elevator door on the ground floor for you and your luggage. Would I stay again? Probably. The room was small and the bathroom was impractical. But, this part of the town has tremendous character. BTW, if you are new to Granada, it's a great place. However, driving here is a nightmare to be avoided at all costs. Find a public garage for your car and leave it there. Take a cab from the garage to the hotel. In fact, driving in the old part of town is restricted and there are license plate cameras so you can get a ticket.

Central, 16th century town house, lovely, quaint.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, good atmosphere, great location
Cons: curtains could fit the windows a bit better
Location: The great AlHambra Palace, do a free waking tour to get your bearings and start noticing things you would otherwise miss, get lost in Albaycin, enjoy
We had a lovely time here. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave good tips on bars, restaurants etc. Because the hous is built around central enclosed courtyard it echoed a bit when people came in very late but it was not a problem. Very central location in a pretty part of Granada. Would definately return.

Rapport qualité prix imbattable.Emplacement idéal

Posted Apr 17, 2016 on Hotels
Excellent rapport Qualité-prix.

luci ed ombre nell'alloggiare in edifici storici

Posted Apr 6, 2016

Went to see The Alhambra. Wanted to be in the older section of town. Was able to see The Alhambra out our hotel room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Many restaurants and trinket shops in the area.

Beliggenhed - beliggenhed og hyggeligt sted

Super hyggeligt hotel - god beliggenhed i forhold til seværdighederne. Ingen parkeringsmuligheder tæt på, men aftale med parkeringshus ca. 750 m derfra= 50 EURO for 3 døgn.
