I am very sorry that you were not able to use our hot tub. It quit working a couple of days ago and the pool supply store had to order a part for it. It should be up and running again within the next week or two.

Very responsive Staff

The hotel has nice amenities and is nicely located just off of 377. It has nice facilities and I liked the room. However, the AC really did not work in the room and the room had not been cleaned very well. We mentioned it to the front desk and they were very responsive and addressed our concerns quickly.

There for a wedding. Convenient location to the square and restaurants. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Did not utilize the breakfast, so can't comment on that.

Very clean hotel

Pros: Same as above, clean, good location, friendly staff
Cons: The breakfast was not very tasty.
Location: Good location near many eating places. We went to Revolver Brewing. Great location for going to the lake and beach area and shopping at the Square.
Loved everything about the hotel, location, cleanliness, updated etc. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the breakfast. It was a little on the bland side.

The staff was nice

Pros: Staff and near the old town
Cons: Yes, the bath had mold in the tub grout. Some of it they had tried to clean, but it still there but lighter in some places. The dresser had holes in.
Location: near old town
The room was OK The staff was nice and helpful. We went to see The Man in Black near the hotel

The staff was warm and friendly, on the ready to give directions or suggestions for dining when asked. amenities you would expect were provided. I experienced some issues with the maintenance condition of the shower, but nothing major. Overall a great stay, would do it again.

Good Value

Pros: Large rooms.
Cons: the room had been recently renovated buy the base boards were missing.
Location: Food places nearby and Lake Granbury.
The hotel was located near the area I was working and close to many restaurants, and even a Wal Mart was nearby. It was in a quiet safe location and it appeared as if it had been recently renovated. Rooms were large, clean, and they allowed me to check in early. Over all a great value for my money.

Nice hotel, but a few problems

Pros: The staff and the location
Cons: The dog policy so that the owners are more responsible for their pets when bringing them. I love that you can have pets there, but leaving not leaving
Location: Downtown Granbury is nice and in Glenrose, go to Fossil Rim. I was awesome and we saw and fed many animals that come right up to your car!
I love that La Quinta is dog friendly and this is certainly not their fault, but there were too many dogs that were left alone all day long. In one particular room, they whimpered, barked and scratched until midnight and it was right down the hall from us. The staff was as helpful as they could be and tried to contact the owners, but they would not answer. It happened two days/nights in a row. They would quiet down, but any noise, such as a door closing or people walking by, would set them off. I felt very sorry for those poor dogs. I know for a fact that one day there were in there for over 8 hours alone. That should certainly be warranted to have an extra expense charge added to their bill. Also, ask for the 3rd floor. You can hear all the walking above your and it's major pounding in the middle of the night that wakes you up when people come home or are going to the bathroom. Other than that, the staff is wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are clean.

I remember this incident quite well because we did end up needing to repair carpet because of it. I am really sorry that another guest's dog was so rowdy when you were here. I don't know if my front desk staff contacted the owner but I do know they contacted me that night. I let them know to try and get a hold of the guest and knock on their door. I am sorry that our efforts were not as effective as I wish they would have been. I hope that you give our location another chance and stay with us again in the future.
