Room nice but mattress not

We rolled to the middle of the mattress. Needs a new mattress. Otherwise room was nice.

Hôtel qui demande quelques rénovations

Nous savions dès le départ que cet hôtel serait d'une moyenne classe mais ça demande quelques rénovation, décoration un peu trop sombre et vieillissante .. Malgré cela nous avons bien dormi la literie n'est pas trop mal et la chambre reste propre, nous avons reçu un bon accueille a notre arrivée

Motel Experience

Pros: Location
Cons: Price adjusted to what you receive
Location: Just off of a busy street. Lots of restaurants as they did not have eating at motel or breakfast buffet.
Felt the motel was very overpriced for what you received in way of comfort. Not sure why we could not cancel. We booked through Expedia, so not sure if that was their policy or the motel. So unfortunately, once arrived and saw the room, would have canceled our two day stay. Restroom accommodations had a lot to be desired.

Old run down gross hotel.

Hotel was old and run down. Towels felt like sand paper. The sheets like toilet paper, you could see right thru them. Found a big long black hair in shower. Only given one small bar if soap for both hands and body. Didn't get all new towels the second day. Will not recommend or stay there again.

Ok on short notice

Good place to stay in a pinch. But for $125 per night you think that the hair dryer would work, the light switches for the lamps would be functional. Its the little things that might bug you. Its in a good location.

Not at all what the pictures look like

Our room was no where near as nice as the picture portrayed on Expedia. The hotel was also overbooked and the manager tried charging us for the higher price room we booked and putting us in a cheaper room. He lied to us and said it was the same price. I called Expedia and they took care of getting us a credit right away. It's a great location though.

It was not okay. I expected the hotel to be a little classier. The room freshener stunk. I found the man at the counter not friendly. I will never go back.

Terrible manager

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Fire the desk clerk.
Had checked in and brought something back to room for dinner. Accidentally spilled a drink on the bed but removed sheets before liquid reached mattress. Went to desk clerk to ask for replacement sheets and he refused to give us any. Was condescending and rude, so we packed and left for another hotel. The bed spread on each bed was filthy and obviously not cleaned by the way. Disgusting. Between that and the rude desk clerk, we left. Will never stay at another ABV motel.

OK older motel with potential

Pros: Location and affordable.
Cons: The property needs a few pine trees to match the pine-tree cutouts in the window shutters. A landscaped island would greatly improve the parking lot.
Location: NAU campus and brew pubs.
This midcentury motel has a well kept exterior and the rooms have been remodeled within the past year or two, I would guess. But the lighting is subpar and the room needed a table for the microwave and coffee pot, rather than stacking those appliances on top of the refrigerator. Bad set up.

Yuck!

If you are looking for a hotel/motel with a definite "ick" factor- then this is the place for you. There was a huge cigarette burn on the blanket, in a non-smoking room, and when I brought this to the attention of the manager he said that was there "for a long time, and it's old".. The room does NOT look anything like the picture. Very old, very run down and gross. Did not even bring my bags in the room, and I'm glad that I didn't because they leave every room open, yes, all doors are left open when the cleaning lady comes to clean your room. And yes, I tried to find another hotel and they were all booked, so yes, I was stuck with the bill for this place that upon checking out- all the clothes that I wore in the room were in sealed plastic bags, and laundered right away. If you are In the Flagstaff area, do yourself a favor and find another place to stay. We were In room 101 and if you are fortunate enough to be in that room, you are welcome, because I went to Target and bought a huge can of disenfectant and sprayed it everywhere..
