I understand this is not an expensive hotel and you get what you pay for but common courtesy is not too much to ask. My husband checked us in and the front desk lady did not welcome us, say, or even the common"enjoy your stay". No, what we got was: "ID and credit card please... Name... Here's your room key.. It's on the second floor that way" as she points down the only hallway there is. It was myself, husband, and our 3 kids (ages 7, 10, & 7 months) in the room. At 2 am I can't take the air conditioner not working anymore and go to the front desk to speak with them about it. After TEN minutes of yelling Hello! at the front desk, the employe wakes up and groggily walks to see what I need. Of course the only option is to have her go see it which isn't an option with my baby asleep. So I open the window, use my own fan (thank goodness I brought it on vacation) and try to cool the room. No apology or anything. In the morning the guy employee at the front desk KNEW it didn't work and said they are working to fix it... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! You have the audacity to put a family with small children in a hot room with no AC ? No thanks. I do not recommend, in fact stay away. This is a terrible place to stay.
