Pros: Clean and modern looking. liked the enclosed fire places...nice ambience
Cons: the adjustable cable latch on the right side of the upright work out machine was busted.
Location: close to everything, right off Buss 40, yet no perceptible road noise.
plush and comfortable. Heating system was noisy, so was the fridge but slept well

We appreciate the feedback. Thank you for the 5 star review. * we've taken note of the issue with the upright workout mmaching and the HVAC unit.

Nice and super convenient!

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Pros: Friendly staff. Easily accessible. Room was modern, up to date, clean and comfortable.
Location: Location was excellent! Plenty to see and do nearby
Stayed for a long weekend. Most hotels in this area were quite expensive! I have no idea why??? Double Tree is always reliable and this location did not disappoint. They were less expensive than some others nearby that are of the same quality level. Saved some money and stayed someplace that we knew would be nice!

Hair in bathtub

Posted Sep 19, 2016
I expected to have a clean room, but when you see hairs in the bathtub, it psychologically messes with the rest of the rooms cleanliness. I expected better. Also, not a fan of the bartender that night putting all the liquids in the glass and then steering with the straw 3 times for a margarita instead of using a shaker. Also, touching the top of the straw with her hands where i am supposed to drink from is not the most appealing thing. The hotel was sold out so changing rooms was not going to be an option.

Lack of consideration

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: the location is convenient.
Cons: Staff should be reminded to be more considerate of their guests comfort.
Location: There was a shopping center across the street.
The hotel front desk staff and restaurant staff were very helpful and nice. My only complaint was that across from my room was a employee's only room that apparently they use as a meeting room. On Saturday before 6 am there was a meeting and the staff who used the room were talking very loudly in the hall which woke me up. I overheard someone saying something about getting a banana. Didn't appreciate being woken up especially on a Sat morning by inconsiderate staff. I was in room 154.

not a good choice for personal travel

Posted Sep 4, 2016
Pros: good breakfast buffet but not inluded with the room. nice pet walking area.
Cons: remove room service trays from hallway promptly. we didnt use room service but many guests did and the trays sat in the hallway overnight.
Location: good location for visiting both grand canyon & sedona, plus anything one wants to do in flagstaff
primarily a business travelers' hotel or a choice for a group. had not stayed in a Doubletree so wanted to try it. complimentary breakfast not included for individual reservations, unless you are a hilton honors member with enough points or you have a group rate or you add it to room rate. for the personal traveler/ vacationer, there are much better options: la quinta, holiday inn express, hampton. noise from the hallway and from other rooms is a problem.

Close to NAU

Posted Aug 28, 2016
Stayed there 2 days to help move my daughter into NAU. Perfect location. 2 restaurants on property and also bar/lounge. I'll stay there anytime I need to visit my daughter.

Noisy.

Posted Aug 10, 2016
Was in the 2nd building and was woken every hour to noise. Doors slamming. Toilets flushing. Voices in vents from other rooms. Zero sleep.

Cons: Over priced
Location: Nice area. Lots of small shops and coffee houses
Free Wi-Fi was slow and kept freezing up. Nice grounds and area. Not much more to say.

Thank you for your feedback. We'll check into the wifi, as we typically have good connectivity for all levels of 'surfing' - and even an upgraded option for guests who would like to 'stream' movies, etc.
