Nice. Clean.

Are only criticism was that for all of the niceties of the hotel they gave a Styrofoam cups to drink our morning coffee out of. We love the breakfast set up with omelettes made to order.

Nice hotel; close to center of town

When we checked in, we asked what the cost would be to upgrade to a room with 2 beds. They upgraded us for free! Room was great, quiet.

great place in flagstaff

I got Embassy in the morning and put luggages(4cases,1cooler) at front desk. When I went back in afternoon, the staff already moved them to my room. Everything is perfect.

Nice staff but hotel needs updating. Our room was not cleaned on our last day & we were told we left our room after the cleaning crew left so we could only get fresh towels. I guess if you leave your room after 11 am it will not get cleaned.

Thank you for providing feedback about your recent stay. I am glad the staff was nice, but I apologize that you did not receive housekeeping on your last day. I am happy to report that we do have more upgrades coming after the summer, including new furniture for the breakfast area. We hope you are willing to give us a second chance the next time you are in Flagstaff.

AZ staycation

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: the free breakfast, was a whole lot more than a bagel and cream cheese, there was something good for everyone
Cons: the free wifi was very spuratic
Location: Flagstaff, the prefect location to see the site and natural wonder, Beararizona , Grand Canyon, snowball ski lift, sunset crater, ancient dwellings
room was a lot bigger than expected, the free breakfast was great.

Summer family trip

Posted Aug 1, 2015
We stayed in a 1BR with 2 queen size beds and a sofa bed. We have a 2 month old, a 6 and 13 year old, we were all comfortable in our room. Would have loved to have free wifi, for the price, it should be included. The breakfast included with the stay was very good with plenty of options for the kids. There were only a couple of issues, the traffic on Milton is horrible, the TV in the living room didn't go past channel 4 or it would freak out and we kept hearing sirens all night. Overall, it's close to several restraurants and if we weren't traveling with kids, I would stay there again.

Room guarantee, but not room TYPE guarantee?

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Upon arrival desk clerk handed us keys to a suite (btw a smoking room). It turned out to be a suite with one king bed. Not what we booked, since we are a family of six. The guy at the desk told us that a booking through a third party (like expedia) give a room guarantee, but not a room type guarantee. Moreover, the hotel was fully booked, he said. After discussing this crazy situation for a couple of minutes, suddenly the room TYPE that we booked became available. We will not go back to this hotel!

Nice hotel for families. This was just a quick stop for us between the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas so we weren't at the hotel for long, but the room was nice and just the right size for us. The breakfast in the morning was great, although it didn't start until 6:30am.

Overall We Were Happy

Posted Jul 19, 2015
The hotel and the rooms are smaller than other Embassy Suites that we've visited as well as the eating area. For afternoon snacks, there's plenty of room, but for breakfast, you sometimes have to be proactive in looking for a table first before getting your food. We went during the middle of summer, so it may not be as crowded during other times of the year. All of the staff members were very friendly, especially the bartenders who were super nice to my kids and even gave them an extra cherry with their Shirley Temples! The one thing I found odd was that the switch to turn on the light to the bathroom was outside the bathroom. WiFi was free which was great, and there was never any issue with finding a parking spot. So, overall we were happy with the hotel.
