Basic Cleaning Needed

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Basic cleaning needed. Trash on the floor beside the bed and crumbs on every edge of the room. AND the room smelled like wet dog. Not impressed and will not be returning.

普通のモーテル

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: ロードサイド
Cons:

Next to busy railroad tracks

Hard to sleep as the trains passed by every half hour. Room was sort of clean. Male staff grumpy. 6 people slept next door. Easy parking.

Some rooms obviously nicer than others...

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Flagstaff. Obviously some rooms are nicer than others and getting rooms in Flagstaff in summer is tough anyway but this was...awful. My non-smoking room reeked of not only old smoke but mold/mildew...incredibly unpleasant. Air conditioner was ineffective and smelled, doors didn't close properly, trash and other items piled in parking lot. The step-in shower flooded the bathroom floor... The hotel staff was nice enough when I checked in but when I expressed my dismay on checking out I got a...shrug. There are lots of options in Flagstaff...go there first.

You always get what you pay for

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: The Restaurant that was attached! The staff was amazing/food was really great. Biscuits to die for. The inside is decorated with locomotive decor.
Location: Lowell Observatory
The hotel boasted a sign that said newly renovated -- all they did was just paint the walls. Upon checking in, we were told that the pool was out of order due to maintenance. One of the reasons we booked is because they did have a pool for the kids to use. When we got to our rooms - one room was still being cleaned a 3pm. The other room, we put on the AC and immediately were welcomed with a chemical smell. The vents of the AC looked as though they had not been cleaned in over a year and took several hours for the smell to go away. There was a lamp in the corner of the room that did not work. There were signs clearly located all over the hotel that said no smoking -- however, when you came out of your room, you were welcomed by a sea of cigarette butts. The only good thing about the hotel was the restaurant that was attached.. The food was great and the service was outstanding.

Hello Maritza, I would like to apologize once again that the pool was closed for maintenance when you came to stay with us and we failed to suffice your preference. Your comment about the cigarette butts will be verified and will be called to the attention of concerned staff that was on duty. I will escalate your review on the guest room you occupied especially the AC unit. Trust that this is addressed accordingly.

Convenbient hotel next to the Museum Club Flagstaf

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Proximity to venue, cleanliness, amenities
Cons: Just a little more empathy from the managing front desk clerk.
Location: Great, everything we needed was nearby.
The physical hotel room was great. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. The font desk manager was amiable, but seemed confused and irritated by our few questions about rates and discounts. Perhaps she was having a bad week, and I understand that. The rate was a little higher than we expected - but that was not a big point of contention. I hope the manager on duty has a better week this week, and we may see her again. Thank you!

Our Stay

Posted Jul 31, 2015
This hotel is located directly across Rt 66 from the railroad that passes through Flagstaff...very noisy all night long! The room was not ready for our 3 o'clock check in and it was not cleaned well (two long hairs on blanket, plastic fork and paper plate on carpet, and the bedspread was spoiled). I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Pros: Very good price compared to other hotels in the area.
As students, we were looking for a decently priced hotel to sleep that was clean and comfortable. This one was perfectly fine. My only complaint was that our room was not ready at check in, but it was available about 15 to 20 minutes later. I would stay here again.
