Beautiful setting

So relaxing. Spent quality time watching my grandson Chase a rabbit around the lawn. Room was huge which was a plus with a 4 year old that wanted to play.

Beautiful area.

Pros: I liked the pool area and the breakfast provided. The bar staff was excellent and very friendly.
Cons: The beds to be actual queen size and a bit softer.
Location: The Grand Canyon was only less than a hour away and the night life in the small village of Williams was great. Had a really good time.
The hotel was great. I had a problem with the beds! They were suppose to be queen size. They were full size and very hard! It was like sleeping on the floor which I almost did but the carpeted floor was stained. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is next to the interstate which makes it a little loud but not to bad. Price for the hotel a bit high for the comforts provided.

Good, economical stay for families

Posted Aug 14, 2015
This resort was perfect for my family with two young boys of 3 and 5 visiting from Australia and on a budget. A pool and hot tub, basketball court, horses to pat. Proximity to Bearizona and Grand Canyon. Breakfast and dinner included in our room rate. Super friendly staff. Our boys loved the 'Cowboy' caretaker and couldn't leave without finding him to say goodbye.

Not a resort! A roadside motel.

Posted Aug 13, 2015
If you are riding the canyon railroad, or spending the night wanting to explore Williams...I would recommend either the best western or the railroad hotel. The mountain ranch resort was neither in the mountain or a resort. This is a motel( yes, you enter from the outside). The carpeting in our room was so stained that it really is embarrassing that management allowed it to be reserved. It also had that weird stale motel smell. I will say that it looked like the bathroom area was recently renovated.

Surprised how close it was to Highway 64 . Very convenient when heading to Grand Canyon National Park.

Quiet setting. Attentive staff. Beautiful views. I'll definitely stay here again. Older hotel but beautifully updated rooms. They upgraded my room for free when I checked in as well.
