We checked in with a very pleasant staff member about an hour early, which was much appreciated as we were in town for a wedding and needed an extra few minutes to get ready. Our hotel was fine. Nothing amazing. Definitely not a palace but there was a bed, running water, and a functioning AC unit (we are easy to please). Unfortunately, while sleeping on the left side of the bed in room 119, my husband was devoured by bed bugs. He was bitten on his hands, hips, knees, inner thighs, arms, and feet - absolutely impossible places to have been bitten by mosquitos or any other pest as we spent all our time outside the hotel fully clothed (socks, shoes, long sleeve shirt, jacket). We had to practically incinerate our clothing and bags upon arrival at home so we wouldn't bring bed bugs inside our house. Super disappointing and awful considering we had an otherwise lovely weekend in Flagstaff. If we weren't educated about bed bugs, we would have unknowingly brought these impossible to kill pests into our home which would have ruined our lives for several weeks, not to mention the associated cost. STAY AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE EATEN ALIVE OR HAVE YOUR HOMES RUINED!
