We liked it! The unit itself was a bit outdated but view was awesome lots of room clean etc. Pool and beach were great ! Close to Marriott where there is water sports and food and drinks at pool bar were great. my kids 12 and 14 loved the pool and milkshakes my husband and I loved the drinks too. Would recommend !

Great location, and one of the few properties on the south of SMB that still has a beach. The walled in cove also provides a great swimming area with good snorkelling just outside. Good pool and bar area, with hot tub and loungers/umbrellas for the pool and beach. Very clean apartment with a good view and everything we needed. We will be going back!

The entrance to the property you had to pass a closed down hotel to get to first. The property itself was fine just passing that made it feel like a downgrade. The apt was ok not the most up to date. Dining chairs were all Ripping furniture was old. Def needs to be updated and refreshed a better color. There was some kind of construction happening in the unit below or next door that made it impossible for my child to nap. The location is Great though You are near 7mile beach and all the Georgetown restaurants and pickup Point for tours

The location is perfect! The protected swimming/snorkeling area allowed us to be in the water when other areas couldn't on the few days that the water was rough. The complex is clean and quiet/private and is within walking distance to some restaurants and two grocery stores (one in either direction). My only negative would be that this unit was managed by "Cayman Condos" and the on-site rental office was NEVER open! We tried going to the office probably 10 times in the course of two days and it was always closed. (We had an issue with the washer & dryer in our unit and we could not find anyone to contact about it.) The phone number that was provided in our original correspondence from Cayman Condos was a mobile phone number but, apparently, you are not allowed to call mobile phones from the landlines in your unit on the island. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here!

Probably one of the best kept secrets on 7 Mile Beach. It's tucked away behind a shuttered hotel (as of April 2023), has a tiny sign that's very easy to miss and looks extremely uninviting when you first turn in. But after you go behind the now closed hotel (formerly Margheritaville), the gem known as Sunset Cove is absolutely incredible... it met and far exceeded my family's and my expectations! The sunsets are incredible!

Great Seven Mile Location
The location of the property was fantastic. Great walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The beach was very well manicured with an inlet for swimming as well as a pool and pool bar. The room could use a few updates but overall was nice - we had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath on the 3rd floor with an ocean view.

We loved our unit and would definitely stay again. The cove to swim in is perfect. We’ve been going to Cayman for 20 yrs and usually stay on the east side. Sunset cove was perfect, so close to everything!!

The condo was very nice and pleasant. Though, a little outdated in furniture, all the amenities were intact and fine. From the coffee maker to the dishwasher, to the washer and dryer to the complementary detergent for all, it really made a big impact in condo living. You really need to have a rental, as the grocery store is about 3/4 of a mile away. It is a really nice area, but a little bit scary as the condos are connected to a hotel formally known as Margaritaville. Margaritaville shut down during the pandemic and is completely vacant. The pool that is connected to the condos pools is completely empty with a fence around it. A little disappointing. However the condo itself was nice and it was great to have a full ice chest to take down to the beach every day. The beach head for the condos was clearly the best out of all the condos on 7 mile. A big storm came through and wiped out all of the beach heads in the surrounding area about seven years ago and it never came back . The hotels that are on the north end of seven Island have better beaches. But because of the cove, it save the beach head for Sunset Cove. The snorkeling was as advertised, very cool very nice to see all the fish in and around the cove. The management however was nonexistent. No one was there to greet us, the office was closed and I could not get in touch with anyone for three hours. Thank God there was a Groundskeeper they got into the office and got me the keys. I never saw anyone from management

I would hate not to give this place a 10; fir it’s picture-perfect beach, big swimming pool, the owner put lots thoughts into it. Hotel room is spacious too, good restaurants in facility and nearby, absolutely love this place. Maybe it’s just us, but the oven, phone and safe are not working in our unit; we mentioned to the office, since that, repairing people are showing up everyday at inconvenient time until our last day they installed one entirely. We didn’t want to get bothered and told them the 1st day not to worry about it. Well, the air conditioner didn’t seem working all that well at the end, but we choose not to let them know.

They have a nice, clean beach and an enclosed salt water swim area that's nice for kids. The surrounding rock walls are perfect for the beginner snorkeler with lots of bright colored fish right in front of you. Snorkel gear are free to use on a first come basis at the Margaritaville poolside hut, as well as 2 stand-up paddleboards and a kayak.I wanted a better fitting mask so I rented a set from Diver's World down the street. If you have a good fitting mask at home, bring it.

The property was so pretty and well maintained inside and out. The pool and ocean were steps away from your doorstep. The staff were courteous and pleasant including Mr Kareem the security guard. He treated grandma to a hug almost every day. 😘 Was on 7 mile beach and close to everything.Margaritaville is adjacent to Sunset Cove and you have access to their pool and bar if you choose. Most of the patrons chose Sunset Coves pool since the access to the beach for Margaritaville is Sunset Cove. The inside is beautifully decorate. Only con is pillows. Master bedroom had 2 pillows and 2 Nd bedroom had twin beds and 1 pillow per bed. Would recommend more pillows only. These are privately owned so not sure what the other rentals are like inside. We stayed in 111 and it had pool and oceanview. Bottom floor. I give it a 5 star.

This condo unit had a breathtaking view and was nice and clean! The bathrooms were a little dated but satisfied our needs. Furniture was very comfortable. The beds could have been a little better but again everything met or exceeded our expectations. The property and staff at sunset coves/margaritaville was exceptional. The ability to stay in either property and use both properties pools, paddle boards, kayaks was a big plus! The only disappointment was condo users don’t get to use snorkeling gear. Overall this was a great family friendly safe place for our family to enjoy what I would consider one of the best trips of my life!!

I loved everything about this property. I sat on the patio every morning drinking coffee and looking out at the ocean view, having multiple pools to choose from and sharing some of the amenities with Margaritaville next door we’re all highlights. I absolutely loved my stay here.

The property itself was great, so much room and very clean. @ large bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms with the kitchen and living area made it very spacious. The fact that it was right by the beach was great, we could easily walk out in the mornings and come back for drinks or a snack. The water was warm and clear, we could snorkel right off of our beach area. The food at the swim up bar was great as was all of the local places that we tried out. The only downside was that the internet did not work in our condo during our stay, and while you shouldn't do work on vacation, I really needed it and had to go to nearby places and use their free wifi to get some things done. Overall we had a fabulous time and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent value and best beach on the island
Sunset Cove is probably the best value on Seven Mile Beach. Yes, it is a little tired and outdated, but that is factored into the cost. Check in experience and Front desk help was fantastic. Beach was amazing. More than enough chairs and umbrellas and snorkeling off the beach was excellent. I would recommend to anyone looking for value and not a 5 star hotel experience

Great location, away from pool noise, close to the beach. The island is beautiful and doing a great job of preserving the environment. I wish the Condos would have a recycling program. And the adjoining Margaritaville hotel would adopt the no plastic straw like many other properties.

It was larger than I thought it would be from the photos, and the property managers were awesome to call us in our home country the week before just to check in and make sure we had all the info we needed. Super clean, awesome condo and I’d go back in a second!
