Terrible hotel

Pros: nothing
Cons: many things to be improved
Location: not good
My husband and I did not have a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room too small, tv doesn't work and hotel front office not helpful.

Nice staff and a good location

Helpful staff, good restaurant, nice location as long as you don't mind not being directly on the beach. The beach is a couple minutes walk.

Sweet Suites

Our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight , but, thankfully we were given a warm welcome, in fact, they had someone escort us to our room! Restaurant was great, and close to beach. Only complaint was being charged $30 a day to use Westin property, even if you didn't plan on going there.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: It was clean and all the amenities were provided. Sunshine Grill's food was outstanding, and cheaper than most other restaurants.
Cons: Cleaning service was late every day. The breakfast choices were poor.
Location: You have to catch a bus or cab to get to the downtown area. The only thing nearby is the beach and other hotels and restaurants.
Hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the beach. Guests need to carry a provided beach chair on a first come first serve basis. The front desk manager and assistants were very helpful.

Great location

Great location within walking distance of Seven Mile Beach. The hotel rooms are very plain, but comfortable, quiet, and clean. We were able to upgrade each day for fee to use the Westin beach with chairs, towels & umbrellas as well as excess to their fitness room. Staff at Sunshine Suites was also very helpful and accommodating.

Good for repeaters

Good location, few minutes walk from beach, good dining restaurant. Rooms are small and old but well cleaned. Lack of staff at reception and not managed well. Also the receptions are available only 07:00-22:00. Overall, good, reasonable and worth to pay if you compare to other well known hotels in same area.

Overpriced, mediocre hotel

Pros: Accommodating staff. Refrig, comp.breakfast until 9:30AM passable: coffee, little pastries, hardboiled eggs that you peel yourself, OJ, cereal.
Cons: True pictures of the hotel, the broken beach chairs, the price is too high.
Location: There is a strip with liquor, a high priced quick trip store, a bank, a Japanese restaurant, all very expensive. The poolside cafe has good smoothies
One of our main complaints against Expedia is that our first flight was delayed due to fog and we missed our connecting flight. We had no idea that there was only ONE flight out to the Caymans. That is important info to know when you are traveling to the island! We only had one hour layover, and that is just NOT ENOUGH time. We ended up stuck in HOUSTON, TX and had to leaf out extra hotel money and Expedia did not refund our one night that we did not get to enjoy at Cayman due to flight issues! Not very nice after spending $6,000 for a 5 day trip. Upon arrival, hotel was more like a motel, pull out bed had filthy sheets that smelled of Fabrez spray. Staff immediately brought up fresh sheets when I complained. Dresser drawers were broken and did not close at all. Overall a rotten experience due to the high cost. Worth 1/3 of what we paid! Very disappointing. The little pool was a sore sight. You must carry broken beach chairs to the beach.

nice hotel, close to the beach, good little food.

Pros: the lawns, the style of building, Sunny exposure, clean, restaurant, near golf course and the ocean
Cons: nothing I can think of.
Overall, it was a good experience at a reasonable rate, not right on the beach but just across the street. Plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. Very convenient location.
