Over all it was a good experiences An improvement to kitchen lighting And table top is sticky for some reason. Pillows could be improved upon. Nice bath robes would enhance the whirlpool experience.

Pros: Location to the river. Availibility of the hot tub and children's play equipment outside. The fire pit. The cleanliness of the chalet was excellent.
Cons: It would be great if unlimited Wi-Fi could be supplied but the pamphlet explained, in detail, why this wasn't a possibility so it's understandable.
Location: The chalets are perfectly situated on the river. So beautiful!
These chalets deserve a 5-star rating. I stayed for 2 nights in the fall of the year and it was spectacular. The chalet is located right on the river. It has playground equipment on site for young children. The chalet itself was beautiful and very clean. The hot tub and firepit were an added bonus. This is definitely a home away from home. I am already planning another visit here during the winter months to avail of their guided snowmobile tours. I cannot recommend these chalets enough! We already have family looking to book here from our recommendations. Hats off to the owners, you have a little piece of Paradise.

Your own chalet on the Exploits River

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Lovely chalet out in the country. Room for 4-6 people but there were just 2 of us. A great place to stop while driving across Newfoundland. While sitting at the dining table playing cribbage on their board, we spotted a moose crossing the wide but shallow Exploits river out front. 7pm. Also enjoyed the 2 friendly fluffy cats outside.

Great once I could get in!

Pros: The size of the chalet and the location were brilliant.
Cons: Welcome! If no-one can be around leave your guests a note telling them what they should do!
They say that first impressions matter and it is true. My first impression wasn't great. I arrived at 4.30pm and couldn't find anyone. The office was closed, there was no note saying what I should do. I called the contact number and got an answering machine message telling me that the office hours are 9 - 5 (it was just after 4.30 remember) and that the office was now closed. It gave me an out of hours number, but no joy there either. I wandered around for about half an hour before I found anyone, by which time I was not best pleased and about to go in search of alternative accommodation. After that it was all plain sailing and the chalet was fabulous. It was such a shame it all started so badly.

Just an awesome place to stay

A lot of attention to detail went into this place. There are nice decks & walkways connecting the 4 cabins to one another & down to the hot tub & fire pit by the river. I am in love. Already planning another trip back!!

Convenient and top notch.

We like to stop on our way across the island and this year we thought we'd try around grand falls Windsor. Great spot for groups of family/friends. We like privacy and quality, both of which we got here.
