Great location! Staff are nice and friendly. Will surely book to this hotel again when we come back to Grand Forks!

Relaxing Weekend

Hotel has a great staff, great breakfasts, good workout room, excellent pool and jacuzzi. We had an enjoyable weekend there.

Well located property, close to several strip malls and easy highway access. Rooms were suites that were very roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. Watch out for the lights in the exercise room as they are motion sensors that do not pick up that you're using the treadmill.

Pros: Great location and recently renovated.
Cons: Customer service needs improvement. And staff need to be more observant when making rooms and breakfast available.
Location: Very close proximity to shopping, restaurants and UND.
When we checked in we had to wait for the staff to finish an obvious person phone call and then she very rudely checked us in. Our room was obviously recently updated and looked nice. But the room smelled like an ash tray and the carpeting was wet (enough to make your socks wet) throughout the room. We later found a bag of Pizza Ranch garbage from a previous guest under one of the beds. At breakfast there were rotten apples available. This hotel has potential to be great but details are definitely missed by the staff that brought the rating for me WAY down.

Thank you for letting me know about your check-in and stay. I am so sorry were not ready with a warm welcome at the time of arrival. I would also like to apologize for the your room. We had cleaned a couple of carpets and you must of accidently been checked into one that was not dry nor guest ready. I have also let the breakfast staff know about the apples and fruit and the need to double check items put out. I am very sorry, as I know we can and do, do better. If there is some way I can make this up to you, please let me know. Thank you.

Nice hotel close to shopping

Hotel staff friendly and courteous. Hotel was clean, but chlorine very strong in hot tub. Rooms clean and comfortable. Would have been nice to have a room with a tub, not just a shower.

Newly-renovated hotel - close to shopping

Pros: Location - close to shopping
Our family of four (including a 15-year-old and a 10-year-old) stayed over the September long weekend. We had a poolside room. It was our second time staying at this hotel, and we'll most probably be back. PROS: • right smack in the middle of shopping • comfy bed, fluffy pillows • wonderful staff (friendly and quite helpful) • hearty breakfast spread • very reasonably priced CONS: • on our first morning, they ran out of plates (staff ran out to buy more); on the second morning, they ran out of knives-- It was the long weekend though, so things were pretty hectic. • room air conditioning wasn't as efficient as hoped for. I was sweating a bit, but the rest of the fam was okay, so we didn't address the problem with the hotel management. TIP: If you're easily bothered by noise, request for a room away from the pool area.
