reasonable good lower cost hotel

Pros: Low cost, helpful staff, quiet, waffle and other hot and cold breakfast
Cons: Queen bed was a bit too soft, and springs worn
Would stay again, based on our experience Nov 13-15, 2017 very affordable

Nice staff but sub par hotel

The staff were friendly and nice, but the room was a disappointment. The ceiling was stained, the carpet was lumpy to walk on and the shower head was not made for anyone over 51/2 feet tall. The claim of a free breakfast was minimal, hard boiled eggs from a bag, and a biscuit to go with your lukewarm coffee and what tasted like powdered apple drink. The free wifi did exist, but don't bother attempting to use it, as dial up is faster. It took two minutes to download a single 15k email. Add to the thin walls and smell in the halls and you have the Knights inn.

cheap hotel in Grand forks

Pros: swimming pool
Location: in the middle of a lot of shops and restaurants
nice, little cheap hotel in Grand forks with a swimming pool. Worth the price and good location close to a lot of stores and restaurants.

Convenient for shopping.

Pros: Had everything you need in the rooms. Breakfast area and breakfast.
Cons: Décor, cleanliness.
Location: Convenient for shopping and restaurants.
The room was fairly comfortable. Had everything you need. However, the room was not ready at check-in time, had to wait for about an extra hour. TV kept failing to work. Staff was helpful in getting it working again. The décor is quite outdated and cleanliness was not great. Breakfast was adequate, the breakfast area very nice.

Needs work

Building is in need of repair. Says non smoking building smells like smoke. Just an overall dirty feeling to it.

Right off interstate

Continental breakfast was nice im a coffee/tea drinker....bed was comfy even a body pillow.bathroom was clean no hair a plus blow dryer updated tvs n furniture well job for a older motel

Excellent place to lay your head ;-)

Pros: clean and quiet
Cons: a second blanket in the room would have been nice.
Location: Location was just off the highway going into Grand Forks which was easy to find and easy to head to the box stores.
Nice and clean and very quiet while we were there. Continental breakfast was really good too. Staff very pleasant. Would definitely stay there again.

Good hotel with great access to the places we visi

Pros: Location and friendly staff plus they have a great breakfast to start the day
Cons: add a hot tub for the weary and tired shoppers.
Location: Nothing is far away in Grand Forks East or West.
We have stayed here a number of times in the past few years and once again were pleased with the room and services provided. Whether as a couple or when my wife travels with her friends to go shopping there is no doubt that this hotel will be at the top of the list as the preferred location. It is a pleasure to stay at tha Knights Inn and to be able to report once again a pleasant stay dma

Smelly room

Check in went well. The room I was in smelled of old cigarettes. Not a pleasant smell. The property needs updating and the carpet needs to go. Overall the stay wasn't horrible but won't stay there again until the stink is gone.
