Better hotels in the area

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Nice lobby/atrium area. However, our room was not up to par - carpet stains, wear and tear, and mold in the shower area. We've stayed in other hotels in Grand Junction, and for the money, this hotel was a disappointment.

Pros: It was clean.
Cons: Needs a refrigerator and a microwave in the room
Location: Best BMX Track in Colorado
A lot nicer then I thought it was going to be. Only problem, no refrigerator or microwave.

Hotel near I70 and Town

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Convenience to I-70 and downtown
Cons: Install a couple of elevators
Location: Lots of attractions and activity in area. Neat downtown.
Hotel is a bit dated but seemed to be clean and well managed. I've stayed here some years ago. Rooms were OK. One major negative was the fact that the hotel, which is a two story facility' had no elevators which seems strange for this large of a facility. We had to lug suitcases, etc. up stairs which was very inconvenient and taxing. Convenient to I-70 and short drive to downtown.

The only non pet rooms are on the second floor. So animals are more important than people!!!

We do try to monitor the rooms we allow pets in and have found that it is harder than it sounds. Being a pet friendly hotel means that we love all of our guests, two legged and four legged. I hope you will give us another opportunity in the future. Thank you, Darshann General Manager

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast provided many hot and cold choices. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Spend the Night

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: WOW, what a "GREAT" breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
After traveling 500 plus miles it was great to be able to relax in comfort and the staff personnel were great.

Excellent Hotel at Fantastic Price

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Location, price, staff, and amenities.
Cons: The lounge (which is probably not owned or operated by the hotel) needs a staff and management shakeup.
Location: Colorado National Monument, Wine and Beer tasting in nearby Palisade, downtown Grand Junction, Mesa Mall.
This hotel provides a great location at a fantastic price. The hotel is located off I-70, far enough away that any road noise was inaudible. It is within about five minutes to the airport and an easy drive to the monument or downtown. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, although the décor is perhaps a bit out of date. Nonetheless, the WiFi worked without hitch, and there were plenty of plugs in the room to recharge mobile devices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely atrium with the indoor pool, gaming area, and chairs. Breakfast is included. Parking is right outside the room. There is a restaurant and bar on-site (the restaurant food and ambiance were good; the bar is another story entirely, no service and not friendly at all). Guests can also walk to several other nearby restaurants, ranging from fast food to more upscale places. I would definitely stay here again, if I was in the area!
