Nice older property

When pulling up to this place I was skeptical, generally older properties like this are run down and not in good shape. I was pleasantly surprised, the property is very well maintained and clean. The breakfast was great. It would be a great place for families, with both indoor and outdoor pools, both which appeared to be well maintained.

Location: We enjoyed an excellent Mexican dinner at Guadalaharas.
We enjoyed the openness of the breakfast eating area along with the gardens and pool courtyard outside. In our room the bed seemed to sag a bit but it was clean and comfortable. The carpet covering the stairs looks old and nasty and should be replaced. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the charge for the night.

Clean, quiet, courteous & efficient staff, excellent breakfast. Love the strawberry water in the lobby & the organic tea selection. This was the best hotel we stayed at in a 10 day trip west.

The price was perfect. Loved the Atrium, pool and fitness center. The buffet breakfast was great. The best part of the stay was checkin these folks care they were fantastic.

nice family friendly hotel close to everything

We were in Grand Junction, CO to attend a family reunion. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Full hot breakfast was a nice surprise. Rooms were clean and the bed very comfy. Our room was quiet which was important to us. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER

Pros: ACTUALLY THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT
Cons: TRAINING THE EMPLOYEES BETTER..SO YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Location: JUST PASSING THROUGH..SO DONT KNOW
REQUESTED ADJOINING ROOMS ..DIDNT GET.. THEY BLAMED IN ON A COMPUTER ERROR.WELL THEN FIX IT. OUR ROOM WE WALKED IN ON A LADY WITH A DOG IN THE ROOM. LUCKILY THE LADY WAS DECENT AND THE DOG DIDNT BITE. THEN WAS ASSIGNED ANOTHER ROOM AND LATER THAT NITE WENT TO USE THE MOUTHWASH AND NOTICED IT HAD BEEN OPENED AND PARTIALLY USED..YUCK....THEREFORE DIDNT USE..HOUSEKEEPING NEEDS TO CHECK BETTER..TONS OF TEENAGERS UN-SUPERVISED IN THE POOL AND HOT TUB. SO YOU COULDN'T FIT 2 GRANDKIDS IN THE HOT TUB. SO NEEDLESS TO SAY OUR STAY WAS THE 1ST AND LAST TIME THERE.

Much better than I expected

Pros: Clean room and good breakfast.
Cons: Stairway carpet could use some cleaning and or replacing.
Location: Great location. It is close to I-25 and has many services close to the hotel.
We would use this hotel again when we return to Grand Junction.

The hotel is out dated. Same design as when it was a Holiday Inn in the 90's. Not my favorite.
