Our stay at the LA Quinta was nice. The hotel was being remodeled and the construction crew and staff were very accommodating.

Rattling Headboard!

Pros: My wife on getting a copy of the check out receipt crossed the Manager, who after explaining her dissatisfaction, reduced the charge for the night.
Cons: Give honest warning of noisy conditions/fix noisy machinery.
Needed a two day rest from cross country driving in lousy winter weather. About 2 hours in room a very loud compressor blasted from what seemed the floor above. A real head banging high decibel cycle that went on for twenty minutes a cycle. Called the desk and was informed a renovation was under way on floor above us, but they stop at 6pm. The did not respond to my phone report of a noise issue, so I went down to the desk to find three people laughing and telling jokes at the counter. When I ask about the noise a young woman sitting behind the clerk said it wasn't the construction equipment, no, it was a compressor system related to the fire suppression, she laughed and said she can't understand anyone wanting that room. They did move us to another room down the hall, its door number had been removed and a penciled paper was scrawled the number, a mess of scotch tape holding it to the door. Room was OK, except the fridge and micro antedated the early Disco era, something retrieved from the dustbin of time... we left next morning, cutting our stay at this inn short.

Nice hotel with the basic stuff

Convenient location in Grand Junction to pretty much everything - very quick and helpful staff. The rooms have everything one needs and the bed was very comfortable. I'd stay there again.

Wish we had more time to spend at the hotel. The breakfast was very good and friendly staf.

Slipping

Pros: It is pet friendly!
Cons: Maintenance and cleanliness need improved.
Location: Location is good and lots of things to do nearby.
I have stayed there many times. I reserved a room with a king bed several weeks in advance. We are given a room with double beds, and it was not clean. I asked for another room, which I was very quickly given. It was better, but it seems like they are slipping a bit.

Location: Great central location.
The breakfast bar could use an upgrade. Eggs would be nice. The hotel is older, but in nice condition and it's in a great central location. Pet friendliness is great! They really love pets there.

Pros: This hotel was fashionably updated and very clean for the price. Front desk staff was very helpful.

Room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoy that I am allowed to bring my dog & that hotel accommodates pet needs. Staff is friendly and welcoming.
