Good Location

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: Location
Location: I took a quick ride through Rimrock Road... very scenic!
I was passing thru on my way to Aspen and wanted to stop off in Grand Junction along the way. This place was a good choice for me... just off the main highway with some restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The room was comfortable and clean... no complaints.

nice hotel. Easy to find. fair price

I was going to see the Thunder Birds air show. I traveled from western Utah and just needed to place to sleep for the night and be up early to go to breakfast with friends before the Thunder Birds air show. The stay meet my basic needs and the price was very reasonable. I show some bad and good reviews. My experience was very good while stay there.

An OK motel,

Posted Sep 19, 2017
Pros: It was handy to most things and easy to find.
Cons: Fridge in the room would have been nice.
Location: Mesa Mall, movies, Colorado national Monument, golf course
We arrived on a busy weekend so were limited in our choice, we scored one of the last rooms available, everything worked as it should the staff were efficient, didnt have a fridge which we thought it had advertised, just staying the one night so happy enough.

Bad

Do not stay at this place, specially if you have kids. It's old, dirty and I would never stay over there again. I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Gross bathroom, by the way!

Great place to take the load off

Posted Sep 13, 2017
I was visiting Grand Junction with my fiancé for her birthday (we were traveling across all of Colorado) and we needed a cheap quick room for the night. I reserved the room and about an hour later went and checked in expecting some ghetto or ran down hotel but I was blown away. The room was very clean and upkept, the bed linens were fresh and clean even the comforter was clean, not to forget how comfortable the beds were! The bathrooms were very sanitary and the room was equipped with cable, wifi, and they even have a fridge, microwave, and little coffee pot for your use. All this for 40$ a night.. what a steal. If I ever go through GJ again I will definitely bring my business here!!

Mesa Inn - OK, for the price

Posted Sep 7, 2017
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Curb appeal could be better. Staff got the job done, but was not overly friendly. In a customer service business, that's the place to score points.
Location: Lots of other motels and restaurants nearby. Close to Interstate, but road noise was not a factor.
For fifty bucks you're not going to get a four or five star motel. This motel fit my need. It was close to the Interstate, quiet, clean, safe neighborhood, and had a continental breakfast. The first non-smoking room smelled like smoke, but they switched me to another room that seemed fine. Room was clean and had a new shower installed. Bed was fine. I didn't turn on the TV, but I used the Internet, and it also worked as expected. Continental breakfast was a couple of dry cereals, hard boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, juice, and coffee Just enough to save me a stop at Denny's or McDonald's.

You definitely get what you pay for. I just needed a place to sleep a few hours before continuing to Denver. I arrived around midnight and the clerk was not very friendly. I drove around the hotel to my room an came across a man being arrested in the parking lot. My room was run down and looked like it had been empty and not cleaned in awhile. The bedspread was worn and looked stained.

old motel, needs updating

Posted Aug 24, 2017
Pros: the staff was nice.
Cons: Detail clean the rooms. Do something about the smell.
I checked in and went to my room and it was not ready, and no one was there cleaning it. The woman apologized she thought it was ready and asked if I had something to do and could come back, I said I would, Things happen I understand that. When I did go back to the room it was made up, but it didn't look as clean as I think a motel room where many people sleep should be. You turn on the hot water and a loud noise would occur. The hair dryer had dirty fingerprints on it, (I didn't use it). It stunk, and I could smell cigarette smoke. I just didn't feel comfortable and watched what I touched. If I knew I could find another room somewhere I would have. It was only one night and I hoped the sheets were clean. I think it is just a old motel that needs some work. It needs some detail cleaning that would help.
