Great hotel, friendly staff, clean, super location. Only problem was the noise all night long from revellers and we were on the 7th floor!

Nice hotel near Grand Place

Posted Dec 5, 2017
Pros: Location Location Location
Cons: Maybe some fresh modern paint in the rooms.
Location: Great location near everything.
Nice check-in experience (was allowed to check in at noon!). Nice room and breakfast. We had a view of the Grand Place and it was fantastic.

More Facilities!

Posted Nov 27, 2017
Pros: It was near the station, amenities and was comfortable.
Cons: As stated above.
Location: As above.
I felt that there was a distinct lack f facilities: There was no drinks and biscuits in room; no place to eat or drink downstairs and although a gym, no spa. However, having said that food and drink was easily available and within walking distance outside, although comfort wise, at least drink making facilities in the room would have made the stay more comfortable. Additionally, the TV kept stopping and starting throughout my stay and I could only receive the one channel. I made reception aware throughout, although it was not rectified. This is just constructive feedback, as I was comfortable and safe throughout my stay.

Nice hotel close to everything

Posted Oct 27, 2017
The hotel is a nice middle of the road hotel with friendly staff, near restaurants, central station, and had a very nice breakfast. The housekeeping staff provided us with anything we needed. If you want to watch tv they have a huge number of channels. We would return to this hotel.

Clean & in city centre

Posted Oct 19, 2017
Pros: Clean & staff helpful. Also good breakfast.
Cons: Some of the plumbing & bathrooms need a bit of an update.
Location: We took 'hop on hop off bus' tour. At 25 euros for 24 hours, very good value & you saw lots of the city.
6 women in group, all with single rooms. All rooms were small, but fully equipped & very clean. One person had to change her room, & staff were very helpful. Another had a problem with her shower, which was fixed immediately. I've stayed in 'posher' hotels but considering this was the centre of Brussels, we found the Floris very reasonable. My only problem was finding it, as you have to go through a Cinema entrance, but that is a small quibble.

Excellent location, in the heart.

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: Location, lift, 24 hour desk.
Cons: A few more smiles. Staff were helpful when asked direct questions.
Location: Just near shops, live music, resturants.
Easy walk from Brussels Central train station. Not to be confused with Midi and Nord. The duo road names were confusing. Easy to walk past do watch carefully. Close to the town square and lots of eateries. Very convenient.

Great location, Excellent staff

Posted Oct 5, 2017
Great hotel in an excellent location. Stone's throw away from the main square in Brussels, and only about an 8 minute walk from the central train station. The staff was great, really friendly, helped us find everything we needed. The rooms are nice, could definitely use an update, but this hotel is perfect for a quick stay in Brussels. Would recommend it!

Pergo better than carpets

Posted Oct 3, 2017
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Fresh fruits at breakfast, hard boiled eggs are preferable to the scrambled (from powder?) eggs. Wall mounted soap dispensers are too industrial.
Location: In the middle of everything--the best asset of the hotel
We asked--and were charged more-- for a king size bed. We got essentially two doubles pushed together. The space by the window clearly indicated the arrangement. Two beds pushed together do slide apart. Housekeeping was adequate, but not quite like hotels in Mexico or some in the US. The breakfast was much like others--it seems that Dowe and Egberts machines have taken over Brussels--at least in Spain coffee was make the barista way. Fruits consisted of apples, oranges and a rare occasional kiwi. The cold cuts and sliced cheese as usual. The bread selections were good. The reception attendants varied from extremely helpful and friendly to indifferent . The exercise room had a treadmill that did not work, a bicycle that did, and a Universal type machine. No air--door had to be wedged open. The location of the hotel was its saving point. Excellent.
