Not bad for the money and a one night stay. Shower handle was backwards. Hot was cold, cold was hot.

Bed bugs

Cons: Remove bed bugs. look to see how many people are staying in the room and have that many towels available. We had to ask for an extra towes each day.
We got to the hotel late on Thursday night. We were pretty tired and went to bed. Husband woke up the next morning with a bite on his leg. He didn't think too much about it. Stayed Friday night and woke up to a bed bug in the sheets. My husband smoothed it in a Kleenex. The hotel offered to move us to another room, but we decided to check out early. When we got home on Saturday night, I noticed a bug on the outside of my suitcase by the zipper. Yuck!

Facility needs attention:

Pros: Air Conditioner

This hotel needs to be remodeled. Carpets need to be cleaned in all areas. The room we were given had a great air conditioner that worked. The rest of the room needed attention. 1) Tile fell off the wall. Tile was given to the front desk clerk. 2) We had a pillow case that was not cleaned. Front desk clerk found a clean one. 3) Shower curtain had multiple holes in it. Front desk clerk could not find another one. 4) Toilet was plugged. Front desk clerk found us a plunger. 5) The bathroom has a fan, but not sure it vented correctly. After a 6 minute shower, all four walls had water coming down. The paint was bubbled in many areas. We must admit, Shane did his best to remedy the different problems that came up. He was unable to change our room as the hotel was 100% booked. We reserved the room at this facility as it was rated a 4 out of 5 on Expedia. I would give it a 1.5. You can hear your neighbors above you and in the hall on the floor above. I would avoid this Baymont until they do some serious remodeling. Doubtful the owners have been in the facility during the year.

Never again.

Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Desk service, towels, breakfast....most things need improvement!
We've stayed at this hotel in the past, but never again. We had to change rooms because there was no hot water. The roll-away bed had broken springs. Our 'clean' towels were still damp. Breakfast was sparse, and there was no coffee available outside breakfast hours. The carpet was old and dirty. Also, the large mirror over the desk had been hung improperly, and it crashed down onto the desk. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The staff seemed to be working hard, but there obviously weren't enough people at the front desk or in the breakfast area. Perhaps there is new management at this time. We stayed four nights, but we won't be back.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good but get there early. The food is all cleared away and they will not let you have anything if you come even one minute late.

Staff was amazing, always willing to help out. Coffee was always ready. Restaurants were in walking distance.

We left our jackets at the hotel so I called and the desk clerk took the time to look in lost and found and we were able to get them back!! THANK YOU!! Also great breakfast--waffles--yum!!
