Dirty hotel, lazy staff, awful breakfast, dumpy room, thin walls! Don't stay here!

Location: Was convenient for out needs
Strange bathroom arrangement. While it did place the toilet behind a swinging door, the door was noisy to close or swung closed in the wrong position. Also, the shower floor was uneven and some water stayed pooled there all day. Otherwise the room was ok.

Pros: Pleasant looking, clean (other than the carpet stains), quiet, good location near the highway, the Meijer Gardens, many restaurants and stores.
Cons: Remove the carpet stains, and let the customers know how to control the temperature. Also, a free breakfast is always appreciated.
Location: Near I96, and the airport; many stores and restaurants, and the magnificent Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.
It was your basic big box type hotel. Pleasant enough. The temperature of the room was overly air conditioned and there didn't seem to be any way to change the temperature; the controls on the heating and cooling unit didn't work. The carpet had many black smudgy stains, possibly tar. Other than that, it was clean.

Very pleased with this hotel!Posted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: Clean and pleasant look. Great staff!!!!
Cons: Fan in bathroom and better quality mattress.
I spent 2 nights in this hotel recently to attend a wedding.and I couldn't have been more pleased with the facility and staff. Great salmon dinner in the lounge on the first evening & breakfast the next morning in the restaurant. The staff was so attentive and friendly for both meals. I purchased breakfast coupons with my room where I could have chosen anything from the menu except the breakfast steak. The French toast and fresh fruit were excellent but I did see they offered make your own waffles and most standard fare offered at other hotels and others seemed to be satisfied with their choices. My room, as well as the rest of the hotel was very clean and modern. Third floor room was very quiet although many young athletes in hotel, as well. I would have given 5 stars for room comfort had the bathroom had a fan. Would stay here again!!!

Close to airportPosted Aug 23, 2015
The bed and pillows are super comfortable. The lounge is nice and large. Separate dinning and large bar. Soaps smell good. Could use fluffier towels. Staff was very helpul. Shuttle service to Steelcase and airport every 30 minutes, paid for taxi when my flight landed late at 1:45am. Uber was also available most of the time.

Beautiful and cleanPosted Jul 15, 2015 on Hotels
It was a beautiful and clean hotel and the room was very comfortable. I was a bit concerned that the tub/shower was very slippery and there was only a bar to hold onto as I exited. Considering it was a handicapped accessible room it might be good to consider something so that showering isn't too dangerous!

Hotels.com is a sham.Posted Jun 25, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was nice. However, when I booked with your website I specifically asked for a Jacuzzi room. They told me I was all set and I agreed to pay the extra money for the luxury of a hot tub. When I checked in, I was informed that the hotel does not have any Jacuzzi rooms, and never has. I immediately called your service department and was told that they could not lower the price to a regular room rate, let alone the fact that I did not get the room I had paid for. I will never use your website again, and I will tell everyone I know why.

Hotel stuff were very courteous, helpful and smiled a lot. Room was very neat with comfortable bed. Proximity to the Gerald Ford airport was a big plus in my choice. Free airport shuttle service guaranteed!!!
