OK hotel with easy access to interstate 96Posted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the location.
Cons: You could tell that this hotel was once a higher class place to stay. It needs to be remodeled and updated.
The hotel was clean and for the most part quite. The building is kind of dated and needs some work, but it was an okay place to stay.

Overall hotel was inferiorPosted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: The only good thing was the location in relationship to the freeway.
Location: Pizza Hut, Taco Bell. That's about it.
Everything in the room always felt wet. If you walked on the carpet barefoot, the carpet would squish from the moisture. The sheets and pillows always felt wet. The room smelled terrible. I used air freshener but it didn't help. The elevator did not work one morning. I was with my 91 year old mother with a twisted knee and she had to take the stairs. There were two cars in the parking lot with 4 flat tires. Everyday when I returned to my room, I would have to go have the cards reset. When I went to check out, they did not even show me as being registered. It took me almost 30 minutes just to check out. He would not put my stay on my Wyndham card. I could go on but I am too tired because I didn't get much sleep during my 5 day stay.

Not a nice hotel. Very poorly kept.Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: It was close to the freeway and very close to restaurants and shops .
Cons: This hotel needs a complete make over.
Location: The highways was close by. Denny's, Pizza Hut, Taco-bell, gas station.
We were disappointing with the breakfast. Only one waffle machine which makes mini waffles . One option of bagel (white) One option of cereal (fruit loop) . Orange juice was more like an orange tang mix. The halls were dark and has an awful smoky stench. The stairs, parking lot, grounds were neglected. The pool does not look inviting. The hotel has more like a motel experience. There was a party in the parking lot right outside our room and there was a boombox . Apparently families use this hotel as a place to hang out together. There were poorly dressed guest going in and out this hotel. I will recommend this hotel for a tired traveler who needs a place to sleep and who only takes coffee in the morning.

Starting to get a make over.Posted Jun 25, 2015 on Hotels
The beds and pillows were very nice. I had terrific sleep. Things I noticed were how clean our room and the meeting areas were. Well maintained. I also noticed that this property had seen much better days in the past. Carpet was old and thin and cement steps were in rough shape. With that said, I saw where repairs have been made and how things might be turning around for a once beautiful hotel. I would like to tell the owners to keep up the good work. Hopefully, we will return in a few years and see a dramatic change for the better.

good locationPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: The location was good for us for the places we needed to go.
Cons: The breakfast. Add hair dryer to each room, along with a microwave and small refrigerator.
Location: We went to the Fish Ladder Park, and John Ball Zoo (it had the state's only aquarium, small as it was). Not far from Lake Michigan.
The hotel is under remodeling. The elevator does not work after 11pm. The continential breakfast could have been much improved. They had bagels, one kind of cold cereal, make your own waffles, frozen cream cheese, not real orange juice. No hot water or cocoa mix or tea bags. No hair dryer. No refrigerator, no microwave in room.

Place to sleep/shower cheap only.Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: price, location to our event, close to food & shopping.
Cons: complete renovation with updated everything.
I'd do it again, but would leave the wife & daughter home. Did not appear to have the highest of class guests.
