Most helpful staff

My family stayed here and the staff went out of their way many times to make our stay more enjoyable. They had a playpen available for our use that was clean and easy to use. And when we requested use of a freezer, after checking with the chef, they made that work too. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and the room super clean. During our 3 day stay we came back early to our room and the maid hadn't made it in yet, she stopped us in the hallway and apologized, unnecessarily, and offered to come right in or back. When we refused service as we really didn't need anything, she double checked and was very friendly.

Nice quiet hotel

Staff was great requested early check in to get ready for a wedding both rooms were done and ready

Better options out there

Expensive in comparison to other much more comfortable hotels in the area.

Hotel getting old

Hotel requires beds to be replaced. Beds getting tired Halls are a bit loud and echo

Comfortable Hotel with 1 Glitch

Cons: The TV
Location: We went to the Dinasaur Museum west of Grande Prairie which was amazing. Also had a picnic at Saskatoon Lake which is nearby.
We enjoyed our stay in Grande Prairie. The hotel was great except for one thing. The TV kept turning off which would have been okay if we hadn't been watching a mystery and we wanted to know who done it! Luckily it came back on at the end of the show. Aside from that we enjoyed out stay very much and we really watch too much TV anyway.

Great!

The only complaint I have is the room was right by the vending machine and I could hear people all night getting stuff and talking.

Cons: Staff to explain directions better.
Location: Very good!
I felt it was a smoking room,when l spoke to front desk they did spray,so was better, !

Central location

Central location; easy to find for people unfamiliar with Grande Prairie . Close to shopping and food choices.. overall good experience, except for the noisy air conditioner that kept. Cutting in and out .

We have noted your comments about the air conditioning; the system does shut down when the requested temperature has been reached. It also has a motion sensor that will shut down the system when nobody is in the room. That might explain the cutting in and out.
