Nice, neat and quiet hotel

Posted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: Everything!!
Cons: When I booked the room on line, it listed some smoking rooms. We didn't smell any smoke, but certainly hope they don't allow any smoking in the hotel
Location: Unfortunately we were only in Grande Prairie for one night.
The hotel appeared newer. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. We were very impressed with our spacious, clean and modern room. The reception area had welcoming drinks (iced tea, coffee, ice water), also free treats (microwave popcorn, cookies, fruit crisps). The complimentary breakfast was restaurant style. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, make your own waffles, juices and coffee. Very impressive!! All this at a very good rate. Will certainly recommend this to our friends.

Stayed at the hotel while on a business trip to Grande Prairie. The hotel is in a great location and is easy to find. Room was clean and there was a good breakfast.

Decent for the price

Not bad for a one or two night stay. It's in the middle of nowhere though, with no restaurants, bars or anything around except for a subway. Rooms are really basic but bed was comfy and the free welcome beverages were a super nice touch! Full free breakfast was pretty good too!

Just attended Provincial Lacrosse tournament in Grande Prairie 16 of the 18 families were complaining about all of the different hotels and motels they were staying in. The two families that were staying at the Days Inn were extremely pleased about our choice of hotel and is the best Days Inn in North America we have stayed at for service and overall stay many!!! added extra touches made our stay awesome and other families jealous.

Good value and good breakfast

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Free breakfast
Room was large and clean and had a full size stove, and kitchen sink. The free breakfast was standard fare, but lots of variety. Juice and milk were nice and cold. Hotel is in the boondocks of Grand Prarie, but within a 5 or 10 minute drive of the main downtown section (if you can call it that).

Return Customers

The front desk staff do not go the extra mile for repeat corporate customers - well, no longer a repeat customer.

The location was fine, the room seems to be lacking a decent counter in the bathroom, a narrow ledge simply is not good enough! Otherwise all was good!

Amenities need some attention

Posted May 29, 2015 on Hotels
Since my last stay a few months ago, the ovens are still out of service, the water "upgrade" is not finished (takes a very long time to get hot water). We got to the room late & I couldn't connect to the wifi, the satellite was out, so no tv. It was 2 am so I waited until checkout to report, and was given a $20 coupon for next time. The room was clean & comfortable, however & the breakfast has something for everyone. The main reason we booked here is that there is a good parking lot for our truck & trailer to unload our cars.

Ok hotel, away from amenities.

Pros: Nice bed
Cons: Bathroom
Location: Too far from downtown.
No bathtub, disappointing. Even worse no place to put my make up bag so it sat on the floor while I did my makeup.
