Convenient, decent food.

Food was excellent and service first class, owners/staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. This hotel would be my first choice every time when working in the area and Was worth the one hour drive to place of business every day. Highly recommended for bus sin or pleasure.

Friendly check in staff. Nice lounges to sit in .Breakfast was very good. A small garden to sit had the weather allowed. The only downside would be the bed making which was very bad. All in all a comfortable place to stay.

I've not stayed anywhere else in town so can't comment on how this compares. On the upside we loved the evening meal and breakfast. Couldn't get the wifi to work at all. Mattress seemed cheap and uncomfortable. Other reviewers either had great or poor rooms. Think we had the latter. Wouldn't avoid for those reasons but next time would check out the competition just for the sake of it.

Condition of hotel disappoints

The hotel could do with some modernisation. Room needed a good in-depth clean - there were cobwebs on the wall and behind the curtains and thick dust inside the wardrobe. The service at breakfast was slow - on last day had to wait 40 mins for cooked breakfast!
