Good location, excellent staff. Room setup across the street not anticipated, very dated. Otherwise it did meet our needs for a two day stay close to St. Moritz.

Good location, average hotel.
Overall ok. Good location with easy public transportation access to get to st moritz/skiing. Nice staff. Clean. Not the most updated. For us, beds uncomfortable (hard/too short) and heat too high.

Really great hotel and design, clean, had an upgrade to a room in the main building which was a surprise! Balcony overlooking the train station. Bear in mind it’s a bit of a hill walking up to the hotel from Samedan station but it’s a short 5 minute walk. Short train to St Moritz.

Very nice property. The hotel restaurant was very expensive for very small portions of food 35 francs for a hamburger is ridiculous.

Nice hotel. When we stayed it was low season town was very quiet. Hotel room had just been renovated it was a very good size. Staff was very friendly.

Room was pretty ordinary. Was so hot had the window opened but because of room being on road it was so loud. Elevator wasn’t working so my partner had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs. Breakfast was good.

Beautiful old hotel
Had a lovely two day break in this wonderful old hotel. We had a room with a view across to the mountains and although it was chilly outside, our room was nice and warm and we had plenty of room. Breakfast was very enjoyable too. A short walk to the train station made this a great place to stay.

Traditional grand alpine hotel with historic features retained, in a convenient location and with lovely views. Excellent service - I had (inadvertently) booked a room not served by a lift. Even though the hotel was busy, they rearranged things to provide me with a room on the 2nd floor, which was much appreciated.

All our rooms, from the most basic to the most elegant, are spacious, with wooden floors and furniture in the most typical Engadine style, have large beds, private bathroom with corner or rectangular whirlpool tub or shower cubicle, satellite TV, coffee corner, free wifi. I am sorry to read your dissatisfaction, which I honestly cannot understand, but I take note of it. Our staff is always available should anything during the stay not be to our guests' satisfaction. After several attempts, they still have not sent me a final invoice and there are many unexplained charges. They refused to give us a spare key and you can only lock the door from inside, so I felt unsafe until my friend came back with the only key. Also, they took the card out of the wall that gave us electricity, so we were without it an entire night and were unable to see anything or charge our phones. They offered no transportation from the train station up the hill to the hotel, and we had too much luggage to carry on our own. It is $50-$70 US just to go 10 minutes to get to St. Moritz. It was a nightmare.

This was the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed in. Only outdone by the exceptional staff. Literally, could not have been any better. Each and every aspect and more importantly each and every staff member i was in contact with (4-5) was just amazing

10 out 10. Great check in. Lovely comfortable room and bed Squeaky clean. Looks like a refurbishment and they’ve done a great job. They made us up a breakfast pack to take on our early glacier express train which could have fed us for the day. Great price for the room. Nothing bad to say

Comfortable and clean
The room was very clean and the staff was extremely courteous. The breakfast was good and the dining hall particularly beautiful. The only disappointment was that the rooms and some of the other features of the hotel looked quite different in person than they did online. It looks much more luxurious and upscale online, but it is pretty old and outdated in some respects. That said, it was quiet and comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised despite being disappointed at first.

Hotel was very nice and ancient but not taken care in details . A four stars structure shoud have a better SPA , there must be no plastic glasses at least a whirpool out of sauna , turkish bath not working , only one shower . Breakfast was served in a very nice hall but lack of high quality products It gives the idea that old style is enough to satisfy customers , instead details are very important . For the price paid we expected higher quality.

Wonderful Hotel in lovely village
Absolutely beautiful hotel with a fabulous breakfast! A week later and my husband is still talking about it! So close to St. Moritz, but without the crowds. Everything was just perfect here.

Great authentic stay
Loved the place, the staff was excellent and location to train station ideal. The town is so quite an authentic. The only complaint is that We sent a message that we are going to be 2 instead of 1 person and they never answered to let us know that we had to pay extra for two people versus one. Otherwise we greatly recommend this place

Nice hotel at Samedan. Location is near train station. There is bus stop nearby, which makes it very easy to go to St. Moritz and Muottas Muragl. Nice breakfast at dining room with great view. Very helpful staff - providing reco where and how to go around.

The hotel is in the centre of Samedan, some five to ten minute drive from St Moritz. The hotel is beautiful to look at, views are very good, the staff is most helpful, rooms are lovely (we had an enormous suite), and the restaurants are very good. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Beautiful hotel, relaxing stay
We stayed in the area to do some hiking and this hotel was a wonderful base for our activities. Our room near the spa was spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The staff were outstanding - incredibly kind, helpful and gracious. The breakfast room was stunning and breakfast was delicious with plenty of healthy options, including a juicer. As part of our three night stay, we received a pass for the local busses, funiculars, and gondolas, which was ideal for our activities. The only issue was that the jacuzzi wasn't working during our stay and it was something I was very much looking forward to enjoying after a long day of walking.
