Good apartment in a good location!
Small, clean apartment. Bus stop right outside. Good location, 15 mins walk to the centre. Reception staff helpful. Had a crib for our baby & highchair in the apartment, which was great. You receive a free guest card for the area to use buses etc free of charge. Can buy coffee pods & bread at reception. Free bike hire. Would recommend staying here, apartment is simple, a little small, but clean & basic amenities.

Dear Aron many thanks for your high score. We are a holiday resort with serviced apartments and houses located in the heart of the Davos recreation area. Our location is one of the sunniest in Davos and is easily accessible by bus from Solaria. We are only about 8 minutes walk from the promenade (main street), where buses run regularly until midnight. The town is amazing. We received tickets for cable cars and free public transport. Accommodation is in a huge complex. There's everything you need for a couple or family vacation. They also give free bikes, and the service is very courteous and pleasant. I highly recommend you to stay in this place.

Tell your friends to stay.
Great stay for individuals couples or families as it caters for everyone. Great service,friendly warm welcome and a friendly goodbye. Free ticket for bath and rail and activities when will use and easy to access. The room was clean and spacious and great cooking facilities.

Comfortable apartments, good location
The studio I stayed in seemed to have been decorated quite recently and was very comfortable, particularly the bed. Location was convenient for the congress centre and Parsenn mountain railways (both about 15 min walk, but there are also busses). The only downsides were that the small window at the from of the flat, facing East, did not have a blind or curtain on it, so bright light came flooding in at 6.30 am through that. From the second day onward I blocked that window. Also, many Swiss plug sockets can be used with a general Euro adaptor, apart from the flat-plug style sockets that were found abundantly throughout the flat. I had to get creative to charge my devices, although I do believe that adaptors can be obtained from the reception as well.

Solaria Apartments in Davos
Solaria provided outstanding service in every way. They arranged a late check-in, provided maps and discount coupons, answered questions about the area, and promptly responded to requests (for instance bringing a microwave oven on request). The studio was well-equipped with a few extra touches like free wi-fi, a pod coffee maker and TV with BBC English channels. It was outstanding service--especially for Switzerland!

Summer holiday at Davos Switzerland
Really impressed ,very nice apartment for 2 ,3rd floor with balcony and lovely view. Parking almost outside the door. Although the car was hardly used as the free Davos pass for 5 local lifts ,trains and busses made it affordable and convenient to enjoy the local area. There is a bus from outside the apartments' or about a1km walk to the train station and the shops. There was free to use barbeque, bikes and various appliances provided on site. The staff where really helpful and the free wifi very good to. All and all a very enjoyable experience.

Great value for the money
We had a great time in "our" little apartment inthe Alps. The unit had everything we needed. The set up for the beds was not the best if you are not a couple, but with a bit of rearranging in the furniture (all very easy to move) we were very comfortable. I will definitely go back if I have another chance.

Forget first impressions - we loved it!
The Solaria receives no stars for its architecture which puts you off, but once past that it is lovely. All the premises have South facing windows and it is in a side valley with lovely views of mountains both sides and snow-capped peaks at the end. You get a card for free local journeys on the trains, buses and funiculars. An hourly bus connects the Solaria complex gate with Davos Dorf station or a fit person (not us!)could probably walk to the main street and good supermarkets in 15 minutes. Reception and service is very friendly and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay which was also one of the most economical in what has become a very expensive country for people from the UK.

Soviet Union in Davos!
The actual appartments are fine, clean and functional with a small kitchen but decent sized rooms. From the outside the area they are in looks like something from The old Soviet Union but in Davos which is very strange. 10-15 minute walk to the centre so a bit out of things really. Ok for a couple of nights or if you have a car and can be bothered to drive around a lot.

We stayed Solaria many time and we keep coming back. The service is very friendly. There is a small kitchenette in the flat that is very usable and all the tools you need to cook a decent meal (no oven though). You can even borough a fondu set. The ski local is easily accessible and locked securely at all time. There is a bus to Parsen and a shuttle service to Jackobshorn. In the evening walking to the promenade takes 10 minutes for when one want to go to out.

Great apartment
Our apartment exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed for a weeks self catering. The staff were accommodating, really friendly and provided us with plenty of information about the area. The location is a 5 minute walk out of the centre, close to a supermarket and surrounded by fields. It was perfect.

Came included with free passes for the buses trains and cable cars in the summer season. fantastic quality apartments with amazing view and walkable distance from the town. we booked at 10 at night for that night and the receptionist came straight away from home to check us in, incredible service thank you!

Good location, 15mins walk from Davos Dorf train station. We were given a complimentray guest card which allowed us to travel on local public transport free of charge. Very clean accomodation, very friendly and very well organzied, helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Solaria is nice.
Clean, nice, quiet. The room had a kitchenette which in Davos is very helpful as many restaurants close on Sunday. Overall it was a very good deal.

Summer trip to Davos, staying at Solaria
An excellent location with easy access to all local attractions. Funiculars, cable cars, local buses and trains free with pass provided by Solaria. Mountain transport opens mid to end June. There is a bus stop at the entrance to Solaria. The self catering accommodation at Solaria was comfortable, clean, well equipped and excellent value for money. Reception staff were very helpful. An ideal place for summer walking, biking or just mountain gazing. Don't forget the Swiss resort tax, payable as you leave.

Fantastic Alps
The room was great - clean and well equiped with a little kitchen area and balcony. The only down side was the single beds pushed together rather than having a proper double bed. Within easy walking distance (10 minutes) of Davos town centre, but extremely quiet location on the edge of town. Great place, would happily stay there again.
