Was a pleasant stay. Would definitely stay here again. Good value for the price too.

No night managment

Asked to cancel room booking but was told that only the manager can do cancellations for Expedia bookings. There was no night manager as I was told the manager that could do cancelations had gone home for the day. Apparently front counter do not have sufficient authority or training to deal with customer requests. Manager also never called Expedia back after they left many messages to call back. This hotel needs more accountability for their managers

Don't be fooled!

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Update your Expedia page and pricing to reflect the truth.
Location: There are several other hotels nearby that are newer are more secure.
We decided to treat ourselves and get a king suite for the weekend. We paid extra for the Hot Breakfast Buffet so be included in the price. We checked in and got our room keys. Before we left the front we asked where the breakfast buffet was. The guest services clerk said they didn't have a buffet - yet we paid for it?? After showing her that the booking included a Hot Breakfast Buffet, she finally gave us two breakfast tickets. We went to our room and the window looked into the hallway - very strange! The bathroom had one of those old mildew filled corner tile showers with an aluminum frame plexiglass door. My average sized husband sat on the bed and the mattress hit the floor and made an AWFUL creaking sound. I thought someone was "exercising". We went to the front desk and asked for a new room. They said no. We asked for a manager, etc. The manager (over the phone) gave us a 2 Queen Room. That room was more comfortable but was poolside and the chlorine smell was very potent. We find out later that we were only given breakfast vouchers for one day, not two, and the menu was very limited (milk and cereal anyone?). Also the outside doors to entrance A and B don't lock and the hotel was full of drunk partiers. We are filing a dispute because we paid an extra $60 per night for a King Suite and Hot Breakfast Buffet and ended up in a 2 Queen Room that REEKED of chlorine and a very limited menu breakfast. Not impressed. We will not be back and would never recommend this hotel!

Back door entrances to hotel not locked until late at night. No room service. Hotel clean but old. Would not stay there agsin as did not feel secure.

Very Comfortable Beds, Noisy Weekend Activities

Pros: The mattresses were extremely comfortable.
They had the best beds that I have ever had in a hotel. I woke rested and without any kinks in my neck or back. I did have a few noises from the hallways (corner room) late at night. There was an exciting Dueling Pianos performance my first night. This had people leaving late to their rooms or the hotel itself. The next night was much quieter. The staff were helpful and quick. They were also available 24/7.

Comfortable spacious rooms. The pool area is totally overtaken by children with no time limit allowance, to enable attendance for adults travelling with no children. Therefore very noisy in the pool area but also in the corridors until past pool closing time of 10pm. Rooms are nice though.

Smelled like peanut butter

Pros: Location to the interstate
Cons: Friendlier staff
I love to eat peanut butter but don't care for it as an air freshener. Front desk staff were in a hurry to check me in and be done with me, even though it was extremely quiet.

Easy Access hotel for travellers

Pros: Close to Interstate highway
Cons: Honesty would be a great improvement.
This hotel was because of easy access to Interstate 15. It is an animal friendly hotel BUT I did not request a pet friendly room. Upon checking in at the front desk I was assured that I was not in the pet friendly section of the hotel. Of course, by 10:00 p.m. there were dogs barking and howling on both sides of my room. When I called the front desk I was told that I was booked in the pet friendly portion of the hotel. When I spoke with the "manager" I was told that since I had booked with Expedia (a third party) and a request was made for a pet friendly room there was nothing that Best Western Heritage Inn could do about it. They added that this occurs when people book through a third party. It appears the Best Western uses third party booking and as a result when issues occur they take no responsibility! Never again!
