An average hotel near the Melbourne airport. Extremely busy place - some rooms face a weird type of trailer park. Rooms are getting a bit dated.

The entrance to the apartment from the parking area was multi level and needed more upkeep, especially for more senior, single occupants. The rooms were well kept and the space excellent. Bed and pillows exceptional.

We did not like our treatment in the Clovelly restaurant. Service was poor and we were treated very badly. Would reccomend the Motel but not the Restaurant. Reception staff were fabulous.

Room was comfortable and very quiet even though the property is on a corner. Easy walking distance to shops and cafes. Restaurant on site is good value and our food was delicious.

If you want to dine at the restaurant your best to book ahead, it was disappointing after a very long drive we couldn’t dine at the restaurants Local pub was great

I could not fault my stay. The room was lovely, spacious and immaculate. With views to the ocean and everything I needed, I was very comfortable. In-room dining was delicious and the staff, very friendly. I will stay here again.

Loved the central location, and even though it was in town, there was no road noise. Quick and convenient to town dining . Great place! Loved the 'make up removal' wash cloth, clever idea!

Old dated room, except for bathroom
Spacious room with very modern recently updated bathroom. The rest of the room was quite run down & had not been updated. The room overlooked the main road & a car park. The vehicle noise from road was very audible. Pancake pillows. Restaurant was closed on a Sunday night so didn’t bother with the bar either.

My wife and I decided to stop here for a night while driving the Great Ocean Road and couldn’t be happier about our decision! The room was great, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the room updates they’ve done - it was very cozy, clean, and comfortable with thoughtful touches like the usb outlets next to the bed. The staff were amazing. We got a late start so we called ahead to let them know we might be getting in close to 9pm. Since it was winter they went ahead and turned the heaters on in the room, which are also nice new heat pumps and work great, so it was toasty as soon as we walked in. The town itself is really nice, and especially in the off season away from the crowds of tourists. We would love to stay here again someday.

The beds were really, really comfortable. The biscuits were nice. The room was small, lacking even a chair to sit on. No plates, cutlery only a teaspoon, but a tea towel. The price we paid in my opinion was not value for money.

Generally a nice stay. Centrally located. Ample parking. Friendly staff. They recommended a couple of places to eat including Pippies by the Bay who were very unfriendly but a couple of nice places in town.

Excellent clean and well maintained accommodation, restaurant meals were really great, but the real highlight is without doubt the staff. Friendly, helpful and efficient. I have stayed in many hotels and motels across Australia but this motel is a standout.

This is one of the very best privately owned motels we have ever encountered. Service was great, heritage romm was superb, dining was excellent. All in all, it was a wonderful visit - thank you very much.

One night stay in premium queen room. Spotlessly clean and heaps of space for the two of us. Loads of sun comes in through bay window. Only a short walk to restaurants and short drive to beach. Would recommend.
