Great value, quirky hotelPosted Aug 2, 2015
Really enjoyed our stay, room was modern and comfortable. The lift is the main attraction, very 1920's style. Bath was quite small and a shelf in the bathroom was missing which was obvious as the fixtures were still in place but other than that there was really nothing to complain about. Good location and they kept our luggage for us after check out whilst we did a bit of shopping.

Great positionPosted Jul 5, 2015 on Hotels
Very large room, excellent. All fitting and fixtures good, decore good, bed very comfortable. Some noise from outside from time to time when bottles were being emptied. Located in a good position to get to major shops, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Get a Room at the Novohotel Around the CornerPosted Jun 30, 2015 on Hotels
It's a pretty building in a convenient spot. The rooms are small but well-appointed. That said, it's very warm in areas. Also, we had a toilet that did not flush. We told the front desk, but they didn't address, which meant we had waste in our toilet for hours. (When we checked out, they said they were going to have someone go in after we left, which does us very little good.) After about 50 flushes and many curses/prayers/spells--over the course of a half day--I finally managed the magic combination and it flushed. Quite the relief, as our room had begun to smell like the public restrooms at a national park. The 11 pound breakfast also took forever and was very average. Go out for food.

A great STAY!Posted Jun 30, 2015 on Hotels
6 nights of comfort and a little decadence. Great room. Wonderful, cooked to order, breakfast, plus a lot other choices. Dinner menu could be just little more extensive. But I guess not many people stay for 6 nights. However when we did eat in the food was really good. The ART HOUSE is the quietest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Very old building and probably very thick walls would no doubt account for this. We would happily stay there again. Not cheap but worth the money.

Quaint old fashioned buildingPosted Jun 26, 2015
Cons: Room was hot and I was unable to open a window. There is air conditioning but I prefer to open a window.
Location: Central for all things to visit
Absolutely fine. Stay was just as advertised. One night stay.
