rooms not made up

Unfortunately we were all given rooms which hadn't been made up: unmade beds, unflushed WCs etc. Although the mistake was rectified and our rooms upgraded, the experience was not a happy one. Also, why would a hotel put coffee pod machines in your room and not supply pods to use (on sale in the lobby)? Not at all like the Fraser suites in Edinburgh

I apologise that the error occurred on check-in and this was rectified within 10 minutes to ensure all members of the party received upgraded rooms to both larger room types and on the executive floor. Complimentary breakfast was also provided for all members of the party.
