"Nice quiet hotel"
Nice overall but the shower leaked on the floor. The grounds are well taken of. The bar near the pool was closed even though it was 85 everyday. Room service was good. I would stay there again.

"Nice rooms in old house that have been restored."
We love to stay in the historic center of the cities we visit. Trocadero Suites the rooms that are part of a 20's or 30's house that have been converted into suites of different sizes. Ours was the smallest and it was roomy, clean and had a refrigeratoor and coffee making facilities. A walk in ample shower with plenty of hot water, too. It is very accesible to many of the tourist attractions that are situated 3 blocks away. The bus is available right on the same street, and we also walked to the plaza mayor which is about 8 blocks away. Walking gave us a view of the old charming homes around the hotel, avenues that are filled with people listening to music, biking, etc. Trocadero Rooms and Suites are part of the Ganz Hotel properties. They offer stays in lovely homes that have been restored with respect to their historical value.

"Very nice Colonial style hotel, need remodel asap"
Very nice mexican hacienda style hotel, beautiful grounds, Food and service are very good but rooms are disappointing. They feel dated, old and worn out, they need a remodel ASAP., specially the bathrooms. Hotel doesn't have a spa and pool is very little.

"Nice modern hotel"
Nice modern hotel! Great pool and breakfast items. Quiet and large rooms with beautiful views of Guadalajara. Also have a great bar and restaurant options inside of the hotel. Rooms service food was delicious. Only downside is that I purchased a breakfast included deal with Expedia and they did not have in their system that breakfast was included, they said it happens a lot when purchasing not directly through them (which isn't my fault, or my problem to fix) I don't know if they will ever come to want to fix this glitch but from speaking with them about it... it seems like they choose to do nothing about it. Also it isn't in an area where you can just walk outside and go somewhere, you pretty much have to take a taxi if you want to go anywhere - which their taxis are cheap so maybe not that big of a deal.

"Ok."
The staff was very helpful, the location was great. The fact that they didn't have a refrigerator in the room was a bit challenging. The breakfast was ok - however, though they make eggs to order in the morning, it took 20 minutes to give me two scrambled eggs... Dining options in the hotel were limited. We had a baby with us and they only had a shower, which made it difficult to bathe him. It would have been helpful to make the shower-head removable since they didn't have a bath. The staff were very helpful with recommendations and calling a cab anytime we needed one.

"Good value for neighborhood"
After a diffident to nearly surly greeting at check-in, the hotel is certainly pleasant enough, if one had a room on the second floor. While we didn't stay on the first floor rooms, they seemed potentially very gloomy. While our room/balcony was nice, it was rather cramped and as we realized we preferred to stay in the center, we moved out after two nights, rather than stay planned 5. Neighborhood has the best restaurants and galleries, but for a first time visitor, it is more historically dynamic to stay in the center (despite being torn up for new train lines). Moved to the Hotel Morales, which was wonderful.

"Good Value"
Have stayed there before. Good customer service with clean rooms and convenient location to major streets. There is a 24 hour pharmacy/store three buildings down and is very convenient for travelling essentials, snacks, and beverages. We arrived early after a long flight and they let us check in early without a fuss or extra charges. It is not a 5 star hotel by any means (the mattress was a little firmer than I prefer) but certainly a great value. I would definitely stay ther again. They have a wide variety of rooms for varying tastes and needs (a simple room to s full suite). Highly recommended.
