Pleasant airport hotel

Nothing fancy here but all the basics are firmly in place. Clean room, very comfortable bed, viewing distance from the airport, on-demand shuttle service, fair pricing. We've stay here repeatedly over the years. Under new corporate ownership, it seems like they've raised their game just a bit since becoming a Ramada Inn.

Hotel in chaos

The free breakfast promised when we reserved a room through Expedia had been discontinued. We were asked to pay $6 each for bagels and yogurt. There was no hot food available at all. I even had to ask for a napkin and was treated rudely when I asked for coffee. The fridge did not work in the room. I had reserved a King bed and was given (2) Queen size beds instead.

Deposit

When I checked in the receptionist told me that I had to put down a $50.00 deposit for the room, so I gave her my card to take out the 50.00 when I check my bank it showed that $71.00 was taken out of my account. When I asked the receptionist said it was an error so she fixed it, now I check my account and I see that there's a charge of $17.54 pending from them what is going on?

Very Friendly.

Every single staff person we encountered was extremely nice. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Comfy room with a nice pool. The only negative part was, we were going to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant. We walked in and no one even looked at us. After a minute we sat down and still nothing. We ended up going somewhere else. But we had an amazing meal so no harm done.

Close to Airport

I was very disappointed with the service on my checkin to the hotel on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017. I had selected this hotel because of the close location to the airport. We arrived to check in at 4:00 which was 1 hour past the time we were able to check in. Room wasn't ready because it had not been cleaned and it would be just a few minutes. Now this is at 4:00 pm. I was very unhappy because I was leaving on a 5:00am flight to New Orleans and all I wanted was to shower, go grab a quick dinner and get to sleep early. Did not get into room till 6:00pm so needless to say the whole reason for getting the hotel to enable us to rest and relax did not go as intended.

I'm very sorry you had difficulty during the check in process! We work hard to make sure there is always a room for the guest when they arrive, however on busier days it can sometimes be a challenge. Not the best

Only good for a 1 night urgent and practica stay by the airport. Breakfast served is only poridge and toast. Staff is friendly but not so trained.

Pros: Convenient to the airport and to Frontier Field.
Cons: Breakfast was mediocre, staff could be more friendly, pool area looks as though it needs some improvement. (no towels, hot tub out of order).
Location: Rochester Airport.
Average hotel for the cost. Not stellar. Not bad. Hot breakfast was scrambled eggs one day and French toast the next day. No bacon or sausage etc. if you like that. Staff was okay. None rude, none overly friendly. All in all okay, but certainly not outstanding. Next time I go, I will probably look around to see what else is available.

there was only one wash cloth in the bathroom every time I would call the front desk no one would answer and upon my departure I could not get a receipt the owner offered to write a receipt on a plain white piece of paper without a letter head. Will never stay there again

Never again

I found the room not to be up to standards that I have seen in other hotels. The toilet overflowed and I called and said it was an emergency yet no one showed and I had to call three times to no avail until I asked for another room. I was told they didnt have one yet but I soon get a call telling me they could put me in a room directly across from ours. This Room was leaking from the ceiling. I am waiting now for a 50 00 refund as well as the 50 they hold from you upon admission.
