Chose a suite with a front sitting area separated from the sleeping area by a full wall and closing door specifically because I’m an earlier riser than the rest of the family, and it’s nice to be able to have breakfast, read a book, or watch TV in a separate room instead of creeping around in the dark getting dressed and then sneaking out to the lobby for 2-3 hours. But the door is nearly full glass panes instead of solid, which neatly defeats the purpose. In a suite with two queen beds (usually for a family instead of a couple) this is a weird architectural choice. Maybe install a blackout drape on the door to resolve this issue?
As others have noted they also have a restaurant instead of the usual free buffet that’s more typical for this chain. Food was fine, but not as convenient if you’re used to being able to grab and go in the morning.
Otherwise a typical Holiday Inn Express. Pretty clean, comfortable beds, quiet, convenient to area attractions, plenty of parking.
