It is just a five-minute walk from the rail station, which was very convenient. The York city wall is literally across the street and gave wonderful views of the skyline. Easy walk into the city centre. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was divine - very large, beautiful marble, instant hot water. My husband and I said repeatedly that we could live there."
