Nice place. Good food next door.

Great price and really great accomedations for that price. Dry county except greencastle, so keep that in mind. Byob. 100% recommend this hotel. Good food for good price next door.

Nice hotel

Newly renovated, very quiet. Helpful staff. Wonderful full fresh breakfast. The attached restaurant was excellent with a variety of meal choices and not expensive

Frugal hospitality

Pros: I liked the look of the recently remodeled rooms. It was clear that a great deal of thought was given to the color scheme and decorations.
Cons: * Clean the luggage carts.The stains and dried fluids on them were a big turnoff. * Improve lighting in the room. * Wash stains off bedskirt. Eww.
Location: The hotel is attached to a Brother's Pizza restaurant.
The hotel staff was very friendly and pleasant. I stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral in Greencastle, PA and my focus was on location more than accommodations.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out the online survey. We take great pride in our hotel, and do everything possible to keep it updated and clean. With respect to the luggage carts. They are shampooed regularly, and the stains that you are speaking of, are beverage stains that have been shampooed, but are permanent, there are no :dried fluids" on any of our carts. The same is with carpeting in some of the areas, they have permanent stains, realistically,we cannot rip up carpeting or re-carpet the luggage racks every time there is a spill. ( I wish we could). I have spoken to my housekeeping staff about checking the bed skirts better (thank you for the heads up). Our rooms have adequate lighting, if your curtains remain open, when the room darkening curtains are used the lighting is not extremely bright, but usually there are no complaints. We hope that you will consider another stay with us, so that we may show you that we are in deed, a first rate hotel. Cordially, Andrea Long General Manager

I did not strictly say bed bugs but flees that might have been passed on by your pet friendly policy on your first floor. “I noticed that the actual cleaning persons that clean the pet friendly rooms on the 1st floor also clean rooms on the 3rd floor of your hotel. Which I believe is a bad policy and overly up kept in transportation of flees from room to room.” Bed bugs actually live in the area given flees move from area to area. The bites on my inner thighs are from flees not bed bugs. I notice these bites on my way home from our last date of our stay or departure at your hotel. If I would have notice them any sooner I would have shown the bites to the actual staff at Comfort Inn. Very disappointed at your concern on this issue and highly recommend that the persons cleaning the pet friendly rooms should NOT clean rooms for customer with any pets- No Pet Rooms. Very unhealthy issue of safe guarded your clients stay at your Comfit Inn.

Mr. Perez, You were our guest for a 10 day stay (with your wife), not once did you ever say anything to the front desk about a problem of any kind (including bug bites), fleas do not discriminate, they would have bitten both you and your wife.You stated, you did not notice them until driving home on the 5th after checking out, but waited 4 more days to file a complaint (the 9th) You are mistaken about our policy having to do with cleaning of pet and non-pet rooms. Each housekeeper gets 1 floor per day. The pet rooms are all on the first floor, the housekeepers rotate, a housekeeper doing pet rooms on the first floor, would NOT be also cleaning rooms on the 3rd floor on that same day. Each day, a housekeepers will be on a different floor. With a 10 day stay, of course you will be seeing the same housekeeper cleaning different floors. I know that you are upset, but again, the marks were not noticed til after you were checked out of our hotel, there is no proof that these marks happened at our hotel. We rent that particular room quite often, and yours has been the only complaint. I cannot say how you got the marks, but it was not from our establishment. Cordially, Andrea Long

My biggest complaint was you heard every door close when others went to their rooms

Sorry for any inconveniences with your stay. Unfortunately, we cannot control the rude guests. When a door is closed properly, you cannot hear it from inside a closed door room. We hope that you will consider another stay with us and we will try and put you in a less trafficked area!

Housekeeping are careless

I checked in late evening dedication was on the toilet & wet towels were hanging on the shower curtain. Front desk lady came & got the towels, but another room nor hotel were suggested. The next day housekeeping didn't clean the room. Whomever the housekeeper were was gone by 11 a.m. If it weren't for the careless housekeeping/housekeeper my stay would've been ok.

Shalonda, We do apologize for the inconvenience for the cleaning rags that were left in your room. You checked in at 7:19 pm and did not report the dirty cleaning rags until after 11:00 pm. The front desk immediately went up to your room disposed of rags and gave you additional clean towels to what was already on rack and under vanity. We were almost full that evening but,we would have gladly switched your room had you made that request. Housekeeping attempted to enter your room the following day, but for unknown reasons, you did not want us entering the room while you were in it. Thus, we gave you additional clean towels as requested. I actually called your room and spoke to you, and I sent housekeeping up to your room and from there you would not allow her access. Housekeeping departed at 2:30 in the afternoon, after all accessible rooms were cleaned. Once they attempt to enter and are not given access, they are told to move on. Again, we do apologize for any inconveniences that you may have incurred. We do hope that you will give us a second chance to prove to you that we are a first rate hotel.
