Needs improvement

Currently undergoing renovation. Hopefully conditions will improve. Also, booked room on Expedia based on their allowance of pets with a $20 per nite fee. When we arrived, they said they had changed their policy and no longer allowed pets. They did let us stay, but charged $45 for our small dog. I complained about this fee and the fact that the tv and phone didn't work and the wifi was squirrelly. They reduced the pet fee to $25. No impressed with our stay.

Work meeting in the area

Pros: Location, price, and size of the room
Cons: A little more updated, but for the price it was nice
Location: I was in a MAC meeting nearby and went to a local bbq place to visit with my nephew
The hotel was spacious and overall nice. It was close to my meetings and I was visiting my nephew who goes to the College in the area

What a Disappointment

Pros: Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom.
Cons: Just about everything needs improvement.
Location: Handy location near the airport.
Beds were comfy. Room and bathroom were fine. But the phone did not work AT ALL. We couldn't contact the front desk nor could we get a wake-up call.The TV remote did not work at all. There was some type of construction going on in other rooms after 8 pm.When we used our own phone to contact the front desk, here was the conversation: Us: There appears to be pounding going on in the room next door. Desk: It isn't the room next door. It is the room below you. Us:Ok. Well the construction is keeping us awake and we have to rise at 3 am to fly. Desk:I was not told about construction. I have no idea. And you aren't the first to call. The guy next to you said you guys were doing the pounding. This continued with the clerk being very rude and defensive. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience or treat us with any respect. He told us no one had told him construction was going on. The 6-7 pm snacks were dried up hamburger sliders that were not edible. The attendant told us there was beer in the ice but there wasn't. Then she came out and handed us 2 room temperature beers - they obviously had never been in a refrigerator more less ice. I don't have high expectations for an airport motel but this place was just absolutely horrible. It's sad because it is close to the airport and the rooms and beds were comfortable. There are a lot of choices around the airport. You can bet we will never choose this place again. And we highly recommend others stay elsewhere.

Comfort Suites Airport

Needs general repairs and remodeling. Two years ago they had an awesome breakfast with great choices....this year not so much
