Honeymoon Suite before the honeymoon

We had an exceptional stay at the Drury Inn after leaving our wedding! Staff was super kind, room was very clean and well-kept. ShamaLee was the nicest to every guest at happy hour - customer service still lives at this place!!

New Years Getaway

Posted Jan 4, 2018
Pros: Hot breakfast, kickback time in the evening, located near several entertainment and shopping options.
Cons: May could do with a small remodel in some outdated areas, bigger breakfast, rework some of the parking areas.
Location: Near other hotels, near or within a mile or two of several restaurants and shopping areas, near Greensboro Arena.
We had been to the Drury in South Charlotte and really enjoyed our stay, so when we saw Greensboro had one, we decided that we would eventually go there. The opportunity arose as we wanted to get away for New Years. Overall, the hotel is good. It is starting to show its age and was not as polished and modern as the South Charlotte Drury, but good for the age. The breakfast was a little limited as was the afternoon kickback hours. There was some confusion about how late the dining area stayed open as my wife and I wanted a fountain drink around 10 pm, but the machine was turned off. There was a stain on my wife's pillowcase, but when we brought it to their attention, they got us a new one. Other than these issues, I had a great time there, especially watching the Panthers game while eating nachos and sipping on a beverage. If you don't have a previous experience with Drury Inn, this one will definitely make your trip worth while. If you do have experience, you may have a letdown, but still will enjoy your stay.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Great amenities and a decent food and drink selection. Convenient location to shopping and dining. We liked the the parking lot was only accessed by key card.

All-around awesome hotel!

Usually I hate staying in hotels because I always sleep horribly but I definitely love Drury Inn. The bed was so comfy. The dinner and breakfast buffets were very filling and delicious. Anytime we talked to a hotel employee they were incredibly helpful. Our kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. We have several upcoming hotel stays and wish we could stay at a Drury Inn for each.

Beverages & food option a bit of a sham. No mention that it only applies between 5:30-7pm. Hot tub was lukewarm AT BEST.

Sheets were wrinkled but towels were nice. Friendly staff. Stated there before because everything else was sold out for market.
