IThe place was literally spotless. The hardwood floors showed no sign of dust anywhere. The bathroom was sparkling, plenty of towels, and a soft padded bath mat to step out onto. Small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash were included. The bed and pillow were extremely comfortable. There was a cozy corner electric fireplace along with a small refrigerator and microwave for our personal use, and a small one-cup keurig, with 2 mugs to use, and plenty of pods. Breakfast was in a formal dining room on the first level and included a place setting with a wrapped home made pastry and fruit cup. An adjoining room held a meat and cheese tray, hard boiled eggs, cereal, granola, yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, coffee/tea/hot chocolate. We sat at a formal dining table that made one think they'd be eating with royalty! Each fine detail added to the welcome feeling that we received when we were greeted at the door. Wi fi worked great in the main part of the building. No televisions in the room (which I personally prefer since I don't watch television) but there is a large screen tv on the lower level if you feel the need to watch something in your free time. This place is definitely off the beaten track, but not far from the New Stanton exit of the turnpike, and only 5 miles from Rt. 22. We were truly made to feel as if we were "at home" by the inkeeper and the Mother Superior, who made an effort to seek us out and welcome us to Robertshaw Country Guest House.
