The person who checked us in was pretty rude and unhelpful. For some reason my reservation was cancelled at the hotel that I booked on Expedia. The front desk person did really not want to help, suggesting I buy another room even though I showed my Expedia receipt and even after she called Expedia and they confirmed everything was good on their side. Unfortunately, I had to ask to speak to the manager then all of a sudden she was giving me room keys , although she gave me the wrong room and I had to do that twice. Usually this wouldn’t bother me but, my AC broke in a heatwave and I have my wife and 21 month old with me... and it was past his bedtime I expect more from a Hilton Brand... I don’t think it should be unreasonable that someone in customer service should smile and try to solve your issues? FYI.... the manager did call me and said he would call back in the morning to discuss. He never did so I would say there may be a lack of accountability in this location.
