Doubletree weekend getaway

Pros: Everything was great, the location, the amenities, the staff, cleanliness, pool, valet.
Location: Lots of nearby shopping if you like the pricier walk of life but it is right off the highway so you can get to everything quickly.
We went to see the Astros vs Rangers game with a whole group of family and loved every minute of it. The staff was very friendly especially Roberto.

Nice hotel

The hotel is very nice and clean ... Only problem I had was with the lighting in the room

Great Comfort

It was awesome! I had a corner room and it was very nice. The bathroom could use some updates but outside of that everything was great. The staff was friendly and it was a clean hotel. I would go back!

Comfortable beds & great view! Hotel room was clean & the cookies that they gave out were delicious.

Nice room, but...

tons of hidden charges. $22 night for parking, $25/day for wifi access, things I am accustomed to have included in the stay.

Although in a city like Houston most hotels do have a fee for both wifi and parking, we obviously should have done a better job in communicating that to you. Ok hotel, must pay for WIFI

The hotel is in an ok location but you must drive to get anywhere with night life, restaurants, or shopping. This could be just peculiar to Houston. The WIFI in this hotel is not free, which is bizarre because most modern hotels provide WIFI.
