For the price excellent with good amenities and a good bed with good linens. Host very helpful and responsive though had trouble contacting him by phone before arrival. Location in a quiet residential area with lovely gardens.

Excellent experience
After another motel in Nowra had lost my booking I lucked onto the Anchor Bay. Was met by Jodie who was super welcoming and helpful. Room was good and spacious, well and thoughtfully appointed and a terrific location. A short but most enjoyable stay.

Love that you didn't ask for a deposit. Staff member was very friendly. Little things like, a can opener and a sharp knife in the room

We'll appointed motel
The hotel is 20 minutes out of the centre of Nowra, and ideally situated for (grand)parents with small children. The public swimming pool, with a paddling pool, is just over the road, and there is a small port and a playground within about 150 metres.The rooms are well equipped, with cutlery, crockery, and even green tea and ground coffee with a French press, which we did not have in other motels. Very good welcome, and good information about the area. There are eating options nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchenette was handy and the room comfortable and clean. The location was beautiful. A little piece of paradise. We’ll definitely stay again.

Lovely small motel, spotless room. Bathroom a bit on the small side but for an overnight traveller all you need. Walk to the pub for a meal. Would definitely stay here again if passing through.

I loved the location of the motel, loved how comfy the bed was. I hated where you had to park your car, my door was hitting the plants and those big bulky rocks, there was mould in our shower floating around, hair all over the tiles in the bathroom.

Hello Karinda, where did you park your car as we don't have any parking spaces where your car door and rocks would hit your car door. I have never had a complaint about mold in the showers . My housekeepers are very fussy with the showers / bathrooms and everything in general . This is very unusual .

The location is scenic...unfortunate La Nina meant that our stay was very very wet but this did not affect the property. We would return to experience a sunnier time.

Good port in a storm!!
A very comfortable stay right by the water at Anchor Bay. A great location, and a very clean and well appointed room. We originally booked for 1 night, but were able to extend it to 2 nights because of torrential rain & strong winds for our drive home down the South Coast. There were no nearby cafes or restaurants open, but we were able to get food supplies from the local IGA a short drive away. We would return for another stay, hopefully in brighter weather.

Only thing we we not aware of was that all the rooms were upstairs. However that was probably good for keeping fit! Had great views from our room. As we were looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet, we certainly found that at the Motel.

Liked the location opposite the river, the room size, cleanliness and water views. Didn't like the disturbance from the other guests (large family who over occupied the room next door) that didn't respect the after 10pm lower the noise rules.
