Overall the service was good except when we first got there the front desk clerk gave us the wrong room key which we entered someone else's room. He was polite, apologized and got us the correct key.

Best Hotel experience I have had

Pros: Convenient to downtown New Orleans (French Quarter) restaurant/bar on-site. all the other extras available. Very friendly hosts and staff.
Cons: It would require a re-build, but the bathroom was a little small. When I book three rooms, I'd like them all to be next to each other.
Location: Everything New Orleans French Quarter has to offer is just a short drive from Hotel to passenger ferry across Mississippi River.
We stayed there 6 nights, with two other couples. I hoped all our rooms would be next to each other, and requested that when I booked for my friends. Turned out wife and I were put in room one more floor up. It wasn't too inconvenient, though, and room was very comfortable and clean. It was our first visit to New Orleans and the hotel (in Gretna just across the river from NO was still close enough to visit all of French Quarter, yet be able to sleep in a quieter atmosphere.

The front desk staff was excellent they were very helpful they got us in our room at a good time they were very pleasant and nice the security guy was very nice and pleasant the rooms could’ve been a little bit more fresh because they had like a musty smell but overall it was good.

Great place if you have a car

Pros: Quiet comfortable room
Cons: When I book a room with a king sized bed, I expect to get one. We didn't. Had 2 queen size beds which worked alright, but not what booked.
Location: Need to go across the bridge to get to the main areas to visit.
Hotel is on the West Bank, away from the central part of the city. Ferry is accessible for a small fee, but make sure you have cash and are prepared for their schedules. Other than not being right in the middle of where you want to sightsee and tour, the hotel was great. Staff friendly, small restaurant for convenience and a few restaurants close by, room quiet and comfortable. All the amenities we enjoy. No breakfast, but that is pretty common in larger cities. One plus is free parking and plenty of it. Enjoyed our stay.

It was OK...

Bathroom is too small and noise from traffic was displeasing. Good refrigerator but unfortunately had to turn the temperature down because it was rattling in the cabinet. The hotel is clean and easy to navigate great location.

First and last, poop on towel.

My plan was to stay 3 nights at the hotel. The rate was really attractive compared to the city center area hotels. And only 10 min from bourbon street by car. Everything went OK, some minor things to repair in the room, but for what I have paid was OK. The third morning I was taking a shower when I took the towel and when I was starting to use it I had the luck of looking at it and found poop on it. I took another one and got down to the hotel front desk. I showed to the lady and ask for any explanation, but she didn't help me at all. I said to her that I was going to leave the room one day before, as I was not comfortable with the situation. On what she said sorry and thanks for your stay. I called expedia from the hotel, they called front desk and they said the lady said to them the same. There was nothing she could do.

Great Stay, Best Staff

Pros: The Staff!! They made you feel like family.
Cons: The parking needs to be improved and more handicap parking
Location: Easy access to downtown or down to the coast.
What a great stay!! The Hotel was clean, comfortable, easy to get to and above all The Fantastic Staff!! Treneise, Mabon, Robert and Shirlonda took care of every guest like they were family!! Treneise knew the guests by their names and made it a point to ensure she knew who you were when you walked inside.

Great Staff!!

Everyone that I came in contact with Robert, Treneise, Mohammad, Thomas, Ashley and the night security guard Charles made my stay here better than expected!!! They always had a smile on their face and called me by my name when I walked by the desk, passed them in the lobby or was getting off the elevator!!! They made me and my family feel at home and very welcome!!!

Great staff, crappy building

Kudos to the staff, they were so nice! :) But as of 9/2017 this hotel needs a major renovation. The bathrooms were tiny, the toilet & mini tub with shower are crammed into the smallest smallest footprint as possible + the door to the room, opens into the room, so major toe hazard. You couldn't take a shower without flooding the room. I guess the vanity area was adequate. The sleeping area was very small compared to most modern hotels. Cheap Motel 6 size. The mattress was lousy & uncomfortable, the furniture was falling off its hinges. The big tv & free parking didn't really make up for the uncomfortable room. There is a restaurant & room service - again, great staff - but a very limited menu. It's easy to park, sleep here & Uber into the city, but there are newer hotels being constructed right next door.

From time to time we have received comments from select guests about the size of our bathrooms. Your comment in regards to our room size shocks me. We very rarely hear these comments as our guestroom size is larger than any hotel in the area. Regardless, I am very sorry you didn't love your stay.
