Great staff, crappy building

Kudos to the staff, they were so nice! :) But as of 9/2017 this hotel needs a major renovation. The bathrooms were tiny, the toilet & mini tub with shower are crammed into the smallest smallest footprint as possible + the door to the room, opens into the room, so major toe hazard. You couldn't take a shower without flooding the room. I guess the vanity area was adequate. The sleeping area was very small compared to most modern hotels. Cheap Motel 6 size. The mattress was lousy & uncomfortable, the furniture was falling off its hinges. The big tv & free parking didn't really make up for the uncomfortable room. There is a restaurant & room service - again, great staff - but a very limited menu. It's easy to park, sleep here & Uber into the city, but there are newer hotels being constructed right next door.

From time to time we have received comments from select guests about the size of our bathrooms. Your comment in regards to our room size shocks me. We very rarely hear these comments as our guestroom size is larger than any hotel in the area. Regardless, I am very sorry you didn't love your stay. Close to everyrhing

Once we first got to the hotel the bathroom was dirty. The staff cleaned it no problem, but the shower was like a sprinkler on the 10th floor. I think the rooms are pretty small for the price, and the toilet kept making noises like it was refilling every 5 mins. Other than that nice staff and close by everything. I do believe the pictures over exaggerate the hotel tremendously.

Reviews can be deceiving!

We booked this hotel because it was just over the bridge to the French Quarter and offered free parking. What you don't know is that free parking is offered to the restaurant next door and to cruises that leave New Orleans so parking is super difficult to find on the weekends. The staff is OVER worked and I mean I come into our hotel at 7pm and see the same gentleman the next morning super tired and grouchy. The restaurant next door is horrible!!!!! Staff has attitude and the food takes forever. Do NOT eat here!

We are fortunate that our hotel is very popular and at times that does make parking tight but I have not been made aware of any issue with a guest being unable to find a spot. More like a motel instead of a hotel

Pros: Staff was very friendly
Cons: The bathroom layout is horrible
Location: Not a lot to do were the hotel is but drive about 20 minutes up town and there is plenty of things to do from museums to gift shops to music and fun.
The beds were very uncomfortable, bathroom layout is very uncomfortable to change in privacy because it is very small. Hotel staff were great very friendly and accommodating. The room sucked.

I would definitely stay here again. It's a short drive to downtown, and very central. it lies close to major highways, shopping, and the Mississippi River. Thanks H.I!

I did not like the bathroom layout. Tub and toilet enclosed in small area with door. Sink opened to room. It's okay if you're alone.

Nice and comfortable

The room was very nice and comfortable. We have family in Harvey, so it was perfect. 10 minutes from family and 10 minutes from French quarters. Will definitely stay again!
