Whether it's a family holiday, a celebratory trip, a wedding celebration or a sporting trip with friends, our family home - Villa Lucia will suit anyone looking for a comfortable and ideally located stay on Lake Como.
Villa Lucia lies behind private security gates accessed by guests to Lucia and the home that sits high above her (used only on occasion due to the owners not in residence for the majority of the year), and there is parking for three cars.
The main entrance to Villa Lucia is grand and a real taste of things to come. To the ground floor there is a large vestibule hallway, a beautiful shower room, a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining room to seat 12 guests, a drawing room for cosy nights by the original stone fireplace, a lake room with views across to the lake ideal for a spot of quiet reading and the rather grand and opulent living room with frescoed ceiling and doors opening to the magnificent views across the lake.
To the first floor you will find a stunning master suite with equally enviable views from the balcony across the lake, five further bedrooms (3 king bedrooms and a twin bedroom plus a single bed with a pull out ideal for the youngsters) a family bathroom with whirlpool/Jacuzzi bath, shower room & en-suite to bedroom two.
The villa has a patio area to the front where we have loungers and a table and chairs set for 10 guests.
Our five bedroom villa offers all guests a wonderful stay and an ideal location on Lake Como - lakeside, with the beautiful swimming pool and beach bar of Lido di Cadenabbia just a short walk away, and with the ferry less than 100m away.
In the village of Cadenabbia there is a convenience store for all your necessities, an array of pavement cafes, restaurants and Italian bars all within walking distance.
We will always meet you upon your arrival, show you around and provide a welcome basket of goodies too. If you need anything during your stay we are on hand to help or organise anything you require.

Explore Lake Como, the coast of the stars!: Lake Como offers something quite magical and still; it's blue waters and backdrop of snow-capped mountains makes for a peaceful and memorable experience.
Having featured in many movies such as Star Wars and Ocean's Twelve starring George Clooney who recently purchased Villa Oleandra in nearby Laglio, it has also hosted some of the most famous writers such as Byron, Stendhal, Shelley, Liszt and Rossini as well as diplomats and members of royalty for centuries.
Lake Como has become such a desirable destination that tourists from all over the world are now flocking to see it! Once an area completely covered by glaciers, today the Adda river makes its long 313 km journey from the Swiss alps into Lake Como forming its distinctive 'upside-down Y' shape. At 410 m deep and an area of 146 km squared, it's Europe's deepest and 3rd largest lake.
Venture a little further around the lake: The central lake area is famous for some of the most elegant villas and gardens that are open for all to discover and marvel at. Some of our favorites include Villa Carlotta just a short walk from Villa Lucia, the 17th Century Villa Serbelloni across the waters in Bellagio and Villa Balbianello made famous by Star Wars and James Bond this little paradise is only accessible by boat.
Activities abound on the lake; during the summer Como comes alive with the lake buzzing with sail boats and speedier alternatives! Swimmers and divers also enjoy the lake during the summer. Just a short walk from Villa Lucia, is the recently opened Cadenabbia lido, for those who enjoy the pool and a nice cool drink whilst the kids play! Do take a couple of the lake excursions - a great way to explore Como it is also the only way to truly appreciate this area and the glamorous lakeside villas that adorn its coastline.
Experience true Italy: A visit to the Lake would not be complete without experiencing the fantastic array of restaurants just tempting your taste buds (and your waistline)! Do visit Locanda dell'Isola Comacina on the mysterious wooded island, a delicious menu (unchanged from 1947!) all served with a most theatrical superstitious 'exorcism of fire'. The elegant restaurant at Lido di Lenno is also worth an afternoon of lake gazing and the pizzas at Helvetia in Tremezzo are truly magnifico!
Planning your trip in June, you may experience the oldest historic festival on the Lake, the Sagra de San Giovanni. The main attraction comes after sundown when hundreds of floating lamps are cast onto the lake, and this is accompanied by a series of fireworks. September is when the traditional rowing race on Lake Como takes place. Palio Remiero del Lario attracts teams from around Lombardy, who come to take part in the grueling competition
